Hey, this is Derek Cole. Welcome to the Derek Cole Podcast. Thank you so much for listening. And the majority of this podcast come from clips of videos with Q and A sessions. Sometimes I put the clip, sometimes the whole show. But usually the clips are kind of bite sized pieces, so you don't, you know, have to listen to me all the time for, you know, seven, 10 minutes. But these are helpful clips and I hope you enjoy it. Again, let's get right into it.
Hey, guys, Derek Cole with Simmons One Hour Heating Air. And I want to talk to you real quick about load management systems, something the power company has talked to you about started to sell you on. They pay you 30 bucks a year. In turn, they put a little device on your unit which gives them the authority to turn the power off of your AC and your heat whenever they want. Yesterday we had multiple no AC calls because in this region, the power company turned the power off of these AC unit so they had no AC and they thought it was a problem. Well, the problem was these devices were on it. I don't think it's a great idea, but you gotta make that choice for you and your family. 30 bucks a year really comes down to what you want to do. But I wouldn't have it on mine.
