Hey, what's up, everyone? Derek Cole here. Thank you for listening to the podcast and welcome to my favorite month of the year. It is March. Not only because my birthday is in March, but we are starting the fourth annual OrangeOutMS campaign. In this campaign, our team takes off the yellow shoe covers and wears orange. And we want you to get a photo of yourself in your orange and submit it to us with the hashtag OrangeOutMS. And for every photo submitted online, on Facebook, on Instagram, any social media channel, we will donate $10 to National Ms. Society to help Ms. As most of you know, I do have Ms. I was diagnosed in 2012 with Ms. So we came up with this campaign as a way to raise awareness, but also as a way to raise funds without. You actually have to come out of pocket to donate. We want to donate as a company so you can take a photo wearing orange. You can take a photo at your house with us with one of the cards all of our clients get this month with the hashtag OrangeOutMS again, every photo taken, every photo submitted, every photo we see with hashtag orangeoutms. We are going to donate $10 for every single photo photo. So that could add up to a lot of money. But we're also starting the radio ads tone with this talking about the orange out Ms. Campaign in the story. So I just wanted to play that for you as well as kind of intro to that with this little audio here. But thank you so much for your support. A lot of you have reached out by email. It really means a lot to me to know so many folks care. So this is a great way to show that by wearing orange and hashtagging orangeoutms in your feeds, in your social media, make sure you tag me, tag us. Or you can tag me too. I'm EricmCole@ Derek mCole all, all channels, same name, same way you can find me. So anyway, I'll cube the ad, we'll play the ad, but we're going to orange out Ms. This month. This month of March.
After 22 blood tests, 5 doctors, 3 vision exams, and 2 MRIs, doctors at Duke University diagnosed me with multiple sclerosis.
Derek Cole here.
You know, an odd thing happens when you first learn to have Ms. Relief is thing to feel relieved, to finally get an answer. But after physical and cognitive struggles, I very much realized the significance of my diagnosis. Still, I'm blessed to have a small army of friends and family praying for me daily. And I have definitely experienced miracles because of those prayers. Now I want to help others living with Ms. Get the miracles they desperately need. During the month of March, every technician at Simmons One Hour will wear orange shoe covers instead of our standard yellow. Join Us. Help raise Ms.
Awareness.
Snap a photo of your wearing something orange for every photo posted online with the hashtag orangeoutms. Simmons One Hour will donate $10 to National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Get details at simmons1hour.com.
