Hello. Hello and welcome to the podcast. This is Derek Cole and today is infusion day. I'm headed to the infusion center right now here in town.
To get my.
Ocrevus 6 month infusion. So thank you for the prayers, thank.
You for the concern and for those.
That stop me, text me, call me. Definitely appreciate your support. It's always.
It's always a journey to get to approval with the insurance company and to get everything scheduled. So it was definitely divine intervention to get this done. But today is going to be about five, maybe six hours long of treatment. And for the. The best couple times, it's kind of wiped me, wiped me out, which I wasn't expecting, I was told about, but I wasn't expecting because typically I do a little better, praise God. Typically I do a little better than what they tell me is gonna happen after the treatment. But even though I'm sitting here for five hours or six hours, it's. They. They told me my body is doing a lot of work with the medication, you know, to get it where it's going. Even though I'm not physically doing work, my body internally is doing a lot of work. Therefore, I will be tired, which I.
Was like, yeah, okay.
But then the last couple times I.
Was like, yeah, there it is.
I feel. I feel it. There it is. I'm tired. They tried to tell me. They tried to tell me. But anyway, thank you for your prayers. Keep them coming. Obviously this was a bit of a different podcast. I think I might do them, might be doing some more of these kind of personal ones. Y' all seem to respond pretty well to it and, you know, not too much, not too many. I still keep it. Still keep it about home. No comfort, energy for the most part, and kind of sprinkle in these personal audios every now and then, so. Or post this one, see how it goes. And if it goes well, we'll keep doing them and keep changing up. But either way, ask for your prayers. I thank you for your support. Take care.
