Heating. The first thing you want to do is make sure your home is nice and warm. No one wants to eat Thanksgiving dinner in a chilly house. If you have a fireplace, consider lighting it an hour or so before your guests arrive. Not only will take the chill out of there, but it'll set the mood. Set the ambiance. Cozy ambiance. Set the mood for your gathering. If you don't have a fireplace, crank up the heat. But don't crank up the heat too much. Remember, everyone that stays in the home is about 98 degrees, so account for the quote unquote people load on top of the cooking. That also may warm the house up. Number two is sitting. You want to have enough seating for everyone at your Thanksgiving table. If you don't have enough chairs for everyone to sit comfortably, see if you can borrow some from a friend or a neighbor. Also, take into account any special needs your guests may have. If someone uses a wheelchair has a wheelchair, for example, make sure there's a clear path to the dining table so they can enjoy the time with friends and family as well. Number three Bathrooms. Your guests will need somewhere to wash their hands. Freshen up after the journey to your home. Make sure your bathrooms are clean and stocked with plenty of toilet paper, hand towels, soap, and it's also a good idea to maybe put in a few air fresheners. That way, if someone does have an accident because it happens every year to someone, they won't be greeted by an unpleasant odor when they enter that bathroom. So a little air freshener is a good idea, make sure it's a good experience. By following these simple steps, you can.
Make sure your home is ready to.
Host Thanksgiving dinner without any hiccups. And when the big day arrives, all.
You have to do is sit back.
And enjoy spending time with your loved ones. The true meaning of the holiday season.
