Hey, what's up, everyone? Derek Cole here. Thank you for listening to the podcast. Today's episode is going to be a little bit different. I'm coming back from Judy's birthday dinner. She just turned 43. That's right, 43. But I really want to talk about something I published last week on my social account. It was an article I wrote called Cloudy with the Chance of a Miracle. If you haven't read that, check it out. Also, send out to our email newsletter subscribers. Yeah, Saturday, Saturday morning, I think was. But the response has been fantastic. I wasn't. I wasn't quite sure, you know, after I wrote it and after I posted, I was like, oh, man, that was. That was pretty out there. Pretty ra. And it's about. So I encourage you to go, you know, look it up, read it. Some of LinkedIn as well in the newsletter that comes out every week on my, you know, my newsletter on LinkedIn. So if you're not subscribed to that, please join in. But Cloudy with the Chance of Miracles, about last week, I think was Tuesday. Last Tuesday, I had to go home early. I was not feeling well. It was cloudy outside, cloudy. It was cloud in my head. And really when I got home, I was just. I was kind of done, you know what I mean? Kind of had that feeling of, you know, I'm tired of this. I'm tired of feeling this way, being sick, you know, obviously I have, as, you know, ms, so that's what my speech is. Learning a lot, little bit, especially this late in the day. But I was kind of done, you know what I mean? You've been there before. It was like, you're over it. You're finished. Then looking back, I was like, you're so selfish. Why are you thinking that way? You are so blessed, first of all, to be able to leave work early because you don't feel good. You got great people in place to take care of the clients, our great clients. You got those in place. So first of all, you're blessed to even have that. Second of all, everything, pretty much everything we have, you have, I have. We have. We either pray for or want it and asked for at some point. So I got to looking at myself and my activity and what I was doing. I was like, you are so selfish. You're not even close. You're not becoming close to what you can do and what's possible because you are so blessed and you look at it so narrowly in this one kind of way because you're feeling, you're. You're fixing to make something I don't say, or. Or something I say, you're fixing to make a permanent decision based on temporary emotions. So one thing we say is never make a permanent decision based on temporary emotions. So as I. As I, you know, step back a little bit and reflect and realize how blessed I am, how blessed we all to even be listening to this podcast right now. I mean, the technology involved in doing this is unbelievable, and we take it for granted that we have access to it and can do it. So if you feel that way, if you ever feel that way, where you're just kind of done, you're kind of tired of it, you know what? It's fine to be that way for a moment. What's not fine is to stay that way. I have Ms. I've had Ms. For 10 years now. It can be rough. It's getting worse. It's not, you know, it's not something to make light of, even though I tried to be funny with it, because what choice do you have, right? Yeah. Kind of laugh and roll with it, right? So I encourage you to, if you feel that way, to kind of step back, take for a moment, realize you are blessed. We have our Lord Savior, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, so we can have everlasting life. If you have never done that or asked him to come to your heart before, take a minute right now and do will change your life. It will get you out of any funk because there is something bigger than you. You are blessed to be here. You are bl. With technology, advancements, food, shelter, clothing, you are a blessed human being. Human being. A human itself is a miracle. But you are a blessed human. So keep living that blessing. Take the salvation given to you for free. Take advantage of it. It's always cloud, always darkest before the dawn. You heard that before, right? It's always darkest before the dawn. So if you're in the clouds, if you're in the darkness, hang on, the light of the world is coming for you.
