Hi, my name is Mike. I never thought I'd make a video like this, a how-to video, but I think you could benefit from it if you have drain flies. I found the solution that works. It's easy. Um, but let me tell you the example. I'm in our basement right now in our laundry room. This is the, uh, the source of the problem right here. This is a utility sink, and you can see— I don't know if you can see that blue rim around it, but I've been trying different potions and lotions effectively that I've been pouring down the sink and it hasn't worked. Uh, one of the home remedies is using boiling water. It's a pain for me to run upstairs and, you know, get to the sink, uh, to the stove and use it. But here's what I found, and this has been working great for the last 2-3 days. I think it's going to continue to work great. It's a hot pot. I think it costs about $25. The brand I have is called Mueller. Um, it's brand new. I, I, I don't know if this one's better or worse than any other, but it's been in here about 3-4 minutes. It's boiling water now. I'm gonna pour it down the drain. I started this a couple days ago, not a single fly. So if you have drain flies, get a hot pot right next to your source, and, uh, every time you walk by, pour down some boiling water. Problems alleviated.
