Mike Michalowicz shares four ways to boost Facebook post reach: use a compelling image, write a short caption, ask a question to spark comments, and post after work hours when traffic spikes about 20%.
Welcome to On a Roll, and now here's your host, Mike Michalowicz.
Welcome to another episode of On a Roll. Today we're going to talk about the perfect Facebook post, how to get lots of traffic to your Facebook posts and people like re-Facebooking and stuff. But first, I want to thank my swagster, who is the Spanish publisher Sirio, who wrote this book called El Empresario de Papel Higiénico. And you can tell by my Spanish accent that I'm perfectly fluent. And you can also tell this is my book in Spanish. So thank you! All right, let's start talking about Facebook. There's 3 things you need to do. 1, first you want to have a picture. Pictures go viral. Why? Because we absorb it within a second, we can retweet it and re-Facebook it like that. 2, keep your comments brief. Don't put a whole novel after it. Leave the novels to me. Instead, write something short. And third, this is the big one, ask a question. Ask a question so people have a reason to respond and comment and share it. It's that simple. Oh, and one final bonus tip, if you really want to go viral, put your post up after hours. There's 20 more percent traffic on Facebook after people are done at work. Surprise. So, Ollie, what do you think about the book?
Oh my, nothing but a bunch of mierda. Toda mierda. Ay caramba.
