So today's theme is standing out. In fact, I write about this a lot in my new book, Get Different, on the importance of getting noticed. That's the first stage of effective marketing. It's the first stage of any effective way of garnering attention, and I wanna show you how I did it with speaking. You'll actually watch it right now. What I did is I set multiple cameras. This is an over-the-head camera. It's got some junk down here right now, but this way I can write notes and so forth and put 'em below you. But also I have a studio camera, hey up there, so you can see the entire studio, and I have a shot here that I can present my books or whatever the item is that I'm promoting that you'd see right here. And by making this, or setting the system up like this, when I do my keynote presentations, I have everything staged appropriately, people notice, right? That is so radically different. It gives me a leg up in the work I do. That's the lesson for you. Also wanna share two books with you that you may wanna consider getting. I have 'em right in front of me, you can't see 'em, but maybe Jeremy, as he edits this video, will make it displayed for you. But one is The One Page Marketing Plan. This is by Allan Dib. The subtitle is Get New Customers, Make More Money, and Stand Out from the Crowd. It is a really good book. It's a very simple book on assembling a marketing plan. Once you know how to get different, now you can roll out a plan for life, and The One Page Marketing Plan will help you do that. Also, Stand Out. This is how to find your breakthrough idea and build A Following Around It. This is written by my dear friend Dory Clark. And great ideas are not enough. You have to have a community that falls in love with it. And to do that, they have to notice by, you know, getting different. So those are my Mike's Likes and how you can do it for yourself with, you know, cameras or maybe some other way.
