A couple fought constantly about money because one partner controlled all finances while the other had to ask permission. Money is the number one thing my partner and I argue about. It always turns into one of us being responsible and the other one being the problem. How do you break that dynamic? With The Money Habit! That's exactly what my wife and I experienced. I wouldn't say it necessarily triggered arguments. It did. It surely triggered confusion between myself and Krista. And so I was the person managing the money and she was the one asking permission. It became this weird parent-child relationship. So what we did is we set up the Money Habit, and what it does is it gives you clarity on what money is available for what purpose, and you can act accordingly. The great thing is, equally, my wife or I can log in and we see what money's in our accounts, and we can make decisions around that independently of each other or collectively. But it's the system that's telling us what's available for what purpose. There's no arguing, there's no confusion. It's just pure clarity at the bank account level.
