Mike Michalowicz's AC/DC framework breaks business into four stages: Attract prospects, Convert them to customers, Deliver the product, and Collect payment. The order can shift, like ACCD when you collect before delivery. Find your slowest stage and fix that bottleneck first.
Do you have a question for me? I do, yeah.
Okay. So in Clockwork, you talk about AC/DC. What are you talking about?
Not the band. AC/DC stands for the flow that all businesses go through. So every business has to attract customers, convert— or prospects— convert those prospects to customers, deliver the services or products we have, and then collect cash. It's not always in that same sequence. Sometimes you have an ACCD. You attract customers or prospects, you collect money up front when they become a customer, converting them, and then deliver goods. But the point is that every business goes through this flow, and when we analyze the efficiency of our business, look for where the biggest time pile or bottleneck is. Like, where do you slow down the most in one of those categories, A, C, D, or C? Wherever that slowest, biggest slowdown is, is what you need to fix next. Fix this next. She approved it.
Yeah, and I pitched my new book. Did you hear that?
