All right, so I changed my mind. Babies should poop. All right, Mama, I wanted to share something that I've learned recently that I know might be helpful for you. You know, I always say that breastfed babies could go up to 10 days without pooping, and that's okay. Well, I've changed my mind on that. After doing some more research and getting a better understanding of infant digestion, I've come to realize that constipation in babies is not something we want to just brush off. Okay, when a baby is constipated, it can cause them discomfort and a sign that something is not right. So while it's true that breastfed babies may not poop as often as formula-fed babies, going more than a few days without a bowel movement should be a red flag. Now, the good news is there are natural ways to help alleviate constipation in babies. These include things like prebiotics, probiotics that help build a baby's microbiome and help with elimination. Now, you can also massage the belly. That's also a great technique to help get things going. Chiropractic support. We want our babies pooping.
