Iată ce spune medicul nefrolog despre consumul corect de creatină monohidrat☝🏻

In a Romanian interview, a nephrologist addresses the common concern that elevated serum creatinine after creatine supplementation is mistakenly taken as a sign of kidney disease, leading some doctors to advise patients to stop exercising or using creatine. The doctor explains how they evaluate such cases: they first check urine analysis for albumin, calculate cystatin C‑based kidney function, and perform an ultrasound. If these tests are normal, the elevated creatinine is attributed to supplementation rather than pathology. The patient is then monitored for about 90 days. The specialist confirms that creatine monohydrate at a dose of 3–5 g per day is safe when combined with regular exercise and adequate hydration. He also warns about counterfeit supplements and recommends using certified products (EU green mark or FDA‑approved imports).
