What Your Doctor Is Not Telling You About Peptide and Pain

Dr. Diane Mueller explains how peptides like CJC-1295 and ipamorelin trigger the body's natural growth hormone release to reduce chronic pain and improve tissue repair. She emphasizes these work best when paired with treatment for underlying inflammation, infections, or toxin exposure, and warns that peptide purity varies widely among suppliers.

Hey everybody, Dr. Diane Mueller here. We're talking today about growth hormone and about the utilization of growth hormone peptides in order to repair tissue, in order to also help with chronic pain. So it's really common that chronic pain happens when we've had an accident or when we have some sort of trauma to the tissue, but also when the body is severely inflamed. So whether it's things like autoimmune disease or toxic buildup from things like heavy metals or mold or other chronic hidden infections that lay beneath our level of easy detection with basic elementary labs, it's common that this chronic pain can occur. One of the things that can help to heal chronic pain that I've really seen to be an amazing adjunct therapy in practice is the use of growth hormone. So with growth hormone, what we are doing with growth hormone peptides— it's very different than giving somebody growth hormone itself. Because with growth hormone peptides, what you're doing is you're actually causing the body to release its own growth hormone. And when done correctly, it is actually stimulating growth hormone in the same normal pulsatile fashion that the body does on its own. So we know that with age, growth hormone declines. And of course, with age, we tend to accumulate more chronic illnesses. So part of helping reverse the chronic illness is always going to be getting to the root. But is also helping with that tissue repair. So I really like the combination of using two different types of products. One is, is a product that will release growth hormone, or mimic— I'm sorry— growth hormone-releasing hormone. So when we use this product to, to stimulate or to mimic growth hormone-releasing hormone, what we are doing is we're stimulating, stimulating the body's natural release of that growth hormone. And by stimulating the body's natural release of growth hormone, it does this in a pulsatile fashion, the way it's supposed to work in the body naturally. And that is avoiding that constant hormone release, what again— which again is like the body does on its own. So for that growth hormone releasing hormone mimicking, we can use products like CJC-1295 or Sermorelin. And then oftentimes we want to combine them with a ghrelin agonist. So a ghrelin agonist is going to be something more like an ipamorelin. The ghrelin agonist— ghrelin is that hormone that we release when we're fasted, and it also will stimulate growth hormone. So this is another way we're getting that growth hormone stimulated naturally. And when we're using this ghrelin mimicker, which is essentially ipamorelin, one of the things that we're doing is we're increasing growth hormone without also increasing things like cortisol or prolactin. The reason this works the best is because, again, it's, it's that natural release. We're really mimicking the body's own way of working with growth hormone. So we're maximizing that repair window. We're helping oftentimes with sleep. This can be very helpful for sleep. And so we're maximizing that repair. We're getting into that delta wave of sleep, and therefore we can help with that tissue recovery that way. Now, of course, we're always going to want to also get to the root cause. So I see this as a combination therapy, as I do with all peptides, but it is a great thing to have in your toolkit as a clinician. For your patients. Now, whether you're watching this as a potential user of growth hormone, meaning you are a patient looking for somebody to prescribe this for you, or you are a clinician, make sure you, you watch the video that I made a couple weeks ago around LPS and around some of the commercially bought peptides and the safety problems that are involved with them. You really want to work with a good company, so you can always get a hold of me um, under the video and information under the video working with me. But the biggest thing is just finding a good company to work with. If you are a clinician and you're looking for a good company to work with, I will always encourage you to email me, and I can— I'd be happy to do an introduction between you and other, um, and other companies on the market that I really do like and that I trust their process around safety and purity. So that is it for this video. I hope you will subscribe to get more information like this. I'm Dr. Diane Mueller Mueller. I'll see you again soon.
