The 6 Longevity Breakthroughs I'm Watching in 2026 (and One Changes Everything) - Episode 327
11 Mar 2026 · 0 min
In this episode of the Gladden Longevity Podcast, Dr. Jeffrey Gladden outlines six emerging technologies and approaches he believes will transform longevity by 2026 and potentially crack the code on aging within the next 12‑24 months. He begins by describing how advanced AI models (e.g., ChatGPT‑5.2, Claude) are being used as personalized assistants to generate highly tailored supplement and treatment recommendations when prompted correctly. He then introduces the upcoming "Longevity Wingman/Wingwoman" app, a HIPAA‑compliant platform that aggregates a user’s health data, coordinates multiple AI agents, recommends tests, sources supplements, and even plans travel logistics to remove friction from the longevity journey. The third focus is on increasingly actionable genetic testing from companies like IntelliX DNA and New Amsterdam, whose reports are continuously updated to translate genetic tendencies into concrete interventions. Fourth, Gladden discusses the sequencing of regenerative procedures—pre‑conditioning with plasmapheresis, EBOO, peptide protocols, and mitochondrial‑boosting regimens (red‑light, ozone sauna) to dramatically improve outcomes of stem‑cell or PRP therapies. Fifth, he emphasizes nervous‑system optimization through psychospiritual work, especially Jungian shadow integration, arguing that mastering the nervous system creates a "300‑year‑old mind" that enhances health, stress resilience, and longevity. Finally, he envisions quantum computing enabling massive parallel simulations to create highly accurate digital twins of individuals, allowing rapid testing of personalized longevity strategies. Throughout, Gladden conveys an enthusiastic, optimistic tone, urging listeners to adopt these tools, join his email list, and anticipate a frictionless, high‑performance longevity future by the end of 2026.
These are the things that I'm gonna be watching for in 2026 when it comes to longevity. And if you stay around for the last one, you're gonna understand why I think we're gonna crack the code on aging within the next 12 to 24 months.
He went from saving hearts as a cardiologist to rewriting the entire aging playbook. Dr. Jeffrey Gladden believes 100 is the new 30, and he's got the science to back it up. This is the Gladden Longevity Podcast.
Hi, I'm Dr. Jeffrey Gladden, CEO, founder of Gladden Longevity. The first thing I want to talk to you about is the evolution of AI and its integration into what we're doing. AI is now playing an integral role in everything that we're doing, from analyzing data to building supplement stacks for individuals. It just keeps getting better and better and better. And while AI is not able to practice medicine, it's become really an incredible adjunct to what we do. And I think as a consumer, it should give you confidence that if your physician and your team are actually utilizing AI effectively, that you're actually getting better results, more information, things that are more custom fit for you than ever before. And I think that's incredibly exciting. So sometimes people are actually afraid of AI. They have the idea that, you know, how can a machine know anything? It's just a computer. What we found is that as these models have grown, ChatGPT 5.2 at this point in time, Claude, things like that that we've heard are very, very good, what we've discovered is that they're actually really quite accurate. And what it boils down to is it boils down to how you prompt the AI, which basically means how do you frame up the question? So if you want to get the best results from AI, you don't simply ask the question, what's the best supplement for sleep? The way you frame it up is, speaking as a functional medicine, longevity, regeneration medicine expert, tell me for someone like me with the following features and the following things, which sleep supplements might be best in my case? When you actually set up the prompt and you tell the voice of the AI to be who you want it to be, not just generically, and then who it's actually speaking to, it will give you answers that will really astound you. It's really, really quite useful. So we use that all the time in the practice. And of course we're integrating our own information in our brains, but we use the AI really as like our personal assistant, quite honestly. You shouldn't be afraid of it. You should actually start to embrace it. And the more that you use it, the more you'll find it incredibly helpful. Actually, some of our best clients will get on a call with us and say, I was looking at Chat, I was looking at Claude, I was looking at AI, and this is what it told me. And we don't ever say, well, that's just here on the internet. We always say, oh good, that's great. We love the fact that you're engaged because there's a lot to be learned there. And then we'll basically integrate that into what we know about them as well, right? So it's really a handy tool, not only for us, but also for you. I think AI is gonna continue to play a bigger and bigger role. In fact, I'm really excited to talk to you about the second thing on the list, which is the development of the app called the Longevity Wingman. So the Longevity Wingman or Wingwoman, it'll be coded both ways, is really to take all the friction out of your longevity journey. So imagine an app that has all your data. It's all HIPAA compliant. It's same as if you were in an EMR. And it basically is being utilized along with a multi-agentic, in other words, multiple AIs that are talking to each other to make sure that they're getting the right coaching information to coach you around What things might be best for you to do at this juncture? What things might be good if you're going to travel? In fact, it will get to the point where it can anticipate your needs. For example, let's say you're going to fly to New York to spend the weekend. What hotel should you stay at? Where are they going to have the right sauna? Where are they going to have the right gym? What's the walking distance? Where are the restaurants that have the food that you would like? Well, here's the menu. Here's the hotel. Would you like that food delivered? Would you like us to make a reservation? It's gonna have all the information that is custom fit to you that removes all the friction so that you can actually stay on track. We're super excited about this app. It's gonna be in beta testing here in the next month or two, and then we're gonna roll it out to the general populace. That's super exciting to us. One of the other key features about the app is that not only will it have data that you upload, but it will also recommend tests that might be advantageous for you to get done so that you can upload it or have it uploaded in. And if it's a test that you can do at home,, it'll basically be able to send it to you at home. If it's something that needs to be done at a physician's office, it will actually recommend a clinic within a 10-mile, 15-mile radius of where you are, where you can actually get this done. The other thing is it will also be able to source the right supplements for you, the right equipment for you, and have it sent to you seamlessly. It's really gonna be a wonderful thing in that regard. One of the other things that it will do is will also be able to get your genetic information and upload it, and with the multi-agentic AI, be able to coach you off of that. Now, there's a couple of secret features to this app that I'm not willing to share with you right here online just yet, but I can tell you that the coaching element of this is gonna blow you away. Just be on the lookout for that. Even though I can't share it with you just yet, if you'll click the link below and join the email list, we'll keep you informed as things start to come forward. Number 3, one of the interesting things is that we've been doing genetic testing here for a long time, and 2 of the companies that we use, IntelliX DNA and New Amsterdam, are continually updating their reports. And what we're seeing is that the reporting is getting better and better and better. In other words, it's becoming more and more actionable. Things that were reported in a particular way with certain interventions that were possible are being updated to be more streamlined or more comprehensive or finding new solutions for people. And this is super exciting. When you think about your genetics, some people are like, well, geez, I really don't want to know. Right? But in actual fact, in genetics, unless you've got Tay-Sachs disease or hemophilia or sickle cell anemia or something like this, your genes are not really your destiny. Your genes are actually just a set of tendencies. And if you understand what they are, you can manipulate their expression in a way that really favors you dramatically. So getting your genetics done and doing it with really quality companies that are constantly updating the reports for you, not just sending out a generic report for everybody, is really, really important. Those are available through Gladden Longevity, and they'll also be available in the future on the Longevity Wingman and Wingwoman. And number 4, one of the things that I'm really excited about is continued expanding expertise in the sequencing of regenerative procedures. What do I mean by that? So we've understood for a while that if you're going to use, let's say, stem cells, that the stem cells will work a whole lot better if you actually clean out the swimming pool before you put the Olympic swimmers in. You can have Olympic swimmers, but if they go into a swimming pool that's full of logs and grass and seaweed, they're not going to be able to perform very well. So doing things like plasmapheresis or EBOO, or doing that several times before you actually do the regenerative procedure, really improves outcomes. Also, we found that if you're using peptides prior to the procedure and after the procedure, it really helps. And now we've really also focused on boosting mitochondrial function. We have a sequence that we're using now in the office to boost mitochondrial function tremendously in the context of regeneration. This is super useful for both the brain, whether you're trying to regenerate kidneys, the heart, whatever it is you're working on, your back, your knee, and boosting the mitochondrial function to have more ATP, more energy in the system to actually facilitate the healing is really important. We're using a combination of supplements, red light bed, ozone sauna, et cetera. There's some secret sauce in there, but I can tell you that we're getting phenomenal results for that. I mean, you can feel literally like you're 16 again for 4 or 5 days after you do these sequence procedures. It's really quite wonderful. So the alternative to doing the sequencing is to just go in and say, well, we're going to do PRP. Well, that's fine. PRP is wonderful. It's lovely. But in actual fact, if it's not being supported properly, if you haven't prepped the area before you're going to actually use it, you'll get about 40% of the result that you can get if you actually go about it in a very comprehensive way. So we're super excited about this sequencing of procedures to actually get you the best results. So number 5 is nervous system optimization. Many of my clients have heard me say that I think all of life comes down to one thing, and that one thing is actually optimizing our nervous system, how we think, what we feel, what we believe is true, And recently I've gotten involved with some of Carl Jung's shadow work. In other words, these are the things that are in the background, that are running in the background, that we may not even be aware of. Some of them we're aware of, like we suffered a particular trauma or a particular incident, but some of it's running in the background and we don't actually fully comprehend that they're there. And his famous statement is that if you don't identify what's in the shadow, you're destined to live in response to it, and you're gonna call your life fate. And so in order to break that cycle, identifying what's in the shadow is really important. And the way we go about that is basically by finding things that we react to. Like if something makes us angry, if something makes us sad, if something makes us super happy, if something makes us excited, any of these responses, we can look at, okay, what is that response doing for me? Where is that coming from? What's making me not feel safe? What's making me feel safe? And when you start to understand those things and you bring the shadows into the light, so to speak, what's in the shadows into the light, it then allows your nervous system to integrate that into itself where it's no longer kind of unobserved. It's like, oh, I get it. This is what's happening. This is why. And the net effect of that integration is that it's very empowering. All of a sudden you are very empowered to go about life fully in control of your nervous system. This is really part of building that 300-year-old mind. It's incredibly empowering. Maybe hard to capture that in just a few sentences here, but I can tell you going down this rabbit hole has been a wonderful experience for me. You know, at Gladden Longevity, we've been talking about the importance of nervous system in the psychospiritual space, this life energy circle for a long time. Actually, really ever since the book was published 2 and a half years ago, you're starting to see more and more people start to understand just how critical this is. And I think one of the things that you can do, pick up a copy of the book. It's on Audible or whatever. I'll walk you through the Life Energy Circle in detail. You can start to lean into your own traumas, the things that you need to heal, the things that you need to transcend. And it becomes instructive in terms of empowering you. This is really about how you are empowered. And it's such a wonderful thing to be empowered. Oh my gosh, right? Like if you drive a car that has 30 horsepower and then you get one with 300 horsepower, it's like, oh my gosh, I can do all these things. It's the same way with your nervous system. All of a sudden you have access to all these things you thought were off limits. It's really, really cool. So you're gonna hear a lot more about this and you're gonna find that when the nervous system is optimized, it has such a massive impact on your health. You decrease stress, you decrease depression, you decrease addictive tendencies. All of a sudden there's much equanimity there. It's really, really transcendent and it really, really matters in longevity big time. And when your nervous system is regulated and you've been able to step into that 300-year-old mind, then you're really gonna be able to take advantage of item number 6. And that is the bringing forward of quantum computing into biology. So many of you may not be familiar with quantum computing. You know that traditional computing is a 1 or a 0. And basically when it's analyzing something, it does so sequentially, meaning if it's gonna look for a solution, it tries this solution. Then it tries that solution, then it tries this solution. With quantum computing, instead of a 1 or a 0, a heads or a tails, if you're thinking about a coin, a quantum computer's like flipping a coin and seeing it spinning. It's both heads and tails simultaneously until it's measured. And because of the quantum computing and the fact that you can link those coins together, it can test millions, literally millions of solutions simultaneously. When you think about applying that to biology, if we have an individual's data and we have real-time data as well as historic data on what's their cardiovascular system, their genetics and things like that, now we could actually build an incredibly accurate digital twin of you. And there will be a digital twin in the Wingman. With that incredibly accurate digital twin, we can basically test lots of different strategies and find out which is gonna be best for you. And that to me is super exciting. I think ultimately this is gonna be how we crack the code on aging completely. This is how we're gonna, you know, basically live young for a lifetime, develop a 300-year-old mind, maintain our cognitive function, be able to perform physically like we did when we were whatever age we want to be. And to me, oh my gosh, we're the luckiest generation of all time. So by the end of 2026, you take these 6 things and integrate them into what's happening. You're going to have more information. You're going to have more actionable information. It's going to be seamlessly and without friction integrated into your life through the app, through the testing that you're doing. Your life is going to become easier.. And it's gonna be more fun, quite honestly, because you're not gonna have to fight through all the different friction points of trying to get things that you want to get done. So I think at the end of 2026, it's gonna be a new ballgame altogether. Easier longevity, better longevity, better health, better performance. All of that's gonna be accessible in new ways. Super exciting stuff. And if you need to regenerate, you'll be able to do that better than ever. If you like this video, subscribe. And click this image here to watch the next video.
