Fatma Güneri Hemisf4ire Design School

In this brief presentation, Dr. Fatma Güneri, a research engineer at the Catholic University of Lille, outlines her scholarly focus on typical and alternative workplaces, telework, creativity, and innovation management, as well as her interests in data visualization, multidisciplinary research, and action research. She then summarizes three of her recent publications: (1) a study titled “One Mount of Workplace as a Subject in News, Blogs, and Discussions from 2020 to 2021: Sentimental, Semantic, and Gothic Visualization of Work,” which collected online data on workplace topics from multiple countries (USA, Great Britain, Canada, India) using the webhouse.io tool; (2) an article in the European Scientific Journal, “A Word Visualization Observation The Hidden Meaning of the Words in Work Environments,” which explores semantic word trees using the example of the word “lying” and its related terms “fabrication” and “prevarication”; and (3) a short observational paper, “What are the recent questions of the public about workplace?” published in the International Journal of Current Science Research and on PREVIUZ, which examines public perceptions of workplace changes due to COVID‑19 confinement through a semiotic lens. Dr. Güneri concludes by thanking the Organization Studies Research Group for naming her an Emerging Scholar of 2022.
