I just watched this Oprah special about why young men are struggling, and it was actually just very heartbreaking. You see these Generation Z men mostly that are lonely, um, scared about the economy, struggling, afraid of rejection, feeling like they aren't worthy of dating and being in relationships. And then you have women on the other end that are heartbroken and sad because the prospect of dating is just so fleeting at this point, and they feel like they may never be able to be married and have children and have a family. And it's all because of social media and technology. People are so glued to their phones that they forget that community and life is outside of your phone. You have to get outside and meet people in real life, in real time, to have connections, deep connections. That actually fuel your oxytocin production and make you feel love and warm and cozy. We're not doing that now. We have lost the whole sense of community, mainly because people have been funneled into their phones and technology and social media. And this is an epidemic, and it needs to stop. So as someone from Generation X, who— I grew up going outside, staying outside all the time, meeting people, making mistakes in real life. That's what got me to where I am today, and that's what's been responsible for most of my success in life. So I urge all of you that are watching this— I know you're watching it on social media, but get outside, meet people, be loving and kind to people, compliment them, get out of your comfort zone, go out of your way, and don't be afraid of rejection. Rejection comes with life. I'm convinced that most of my success is because I don't give a damn about rejection. I can take a few nos here and there. That's definitely not the worst thing that's happened to me in my life. So think about it. Get off social media. Connect with other people. You'll be thankful for it later.
