Pay close attention to my video. Not one time did I put down master's level therapists. I work with them, I supervise and train them, I love them, we need them. What I said in my video was that psychologists do very different things than therapists. Therapists do mostly therapy. With the exception of a few assessments, while psychologists have many more years in school, which means more courses, more training, more practice, as well as the assessments. We're trained to do more comprehensive assessments. So there are some things that we do that are uniquely different from master's level therapists and psychiatrists. So not one time did I put a master's level therapist down. Respectfully, pay attention to the video. And in fact, we need them all now more than ever because there is a shortage of all therapists, especially therapists of color.
