Hello everyone.
This is Dr. Allen, founder of Business Mastermind Group. Today I want to talk to you about keeping our team members in check with our company's role.
What am I talking about? Well, I'm talking about situations where the company is doing very well, the momentum is behind you. And some team members, they let ego.
Get into their head that their role is more important than the company's growth.
Well, this happened to me often when.
I used to run companies with many.
Employees that every once in a while.
Somebody would have that attitude that would.
Come in and say, hey, you know.
You guys are doing so well because of me. Well, I used to challenge them, hey.
Why don't you go and start your own company?
And many of them did and many of them failed.
And they will come back and work.
For me on a part time basis while they're running their own companies.
So I think as leaders, it is our role, it's an important role that we consistently and continuously communicate with our.
Team members what our company goal and.
Vision is and let them know that.
Their role, no matter how good, how strong a team member they are, is.
Never, never important than what the company goal is.
This reminds me of the story of Winston Churchill.
When England was losing the war.
He invited seven people, seven actually adversaries, to.
Come in and join him in a bunker underground London for five years, to live with him, to work with him.
And he continuously communicated with them that.
Here we're not here because of who we are or our role is. Our role is to win the war.
And everyone, those people understood his vision and his mission.
That's why Ayncle won the war.
