In our practice, we focus on working with buyers, a compendium of buyers that consists of strategic buyers. Basically, strategic buyers are someone in a similar business of yours, maybe a competitor, maybe.
A company that has. It could be a customer of yours that could see you as a vertical that they can add to their existing portfolio. Then we also work with private equity firms. Private equity firms are basically financial investors.
That they have raised the money from some of their limited partners that could be high net worth individuals, it could be, you know, companies. And they have their money and they have expertise in a sector and they are there to buy a significant portion of your company, give you cash up front rather than putting it into the company and have you roll equity with them to grow the company to the next level. Then we also work with institutional investors. These are big insurance groups like New York Life, it could be Adventist Group, it could be a pension fund, a school, alumni of some kind. And then we have the family offices, which are basically.
Rich families that have a lot of portfolio portfolios in real estate and they have a lot of passive income. They're looking for diversification of their investment into different types of companies.
