Hello everyone, this is Dr. Alan, founder of Business Mastermind Group. Today I want to talk to you about lineups. Now some people may call it morning huddle, some people may refer to it as morning brief. No matter what you call it, basically a lineup is a short meeting, 15, 20 minutes or less that everyone on a team, they get together and they communicate the projects they're working on so everyone on the team speaks about their project so everyone on the team can understand what's going on throughout the day. Now, a lineup is not about problem solving or, or coming up with a solution of some projects that you have been working on. It is basically a tool for communication. See in the Internet age when now the technology we go home and we receive texts and messages on our BlackBerry and iPhones many times after the working hours. So that communication is very, very important because done in the morning and nothing is like a face to face communication.
I know a lot of you like to use your iPads or your tools, nothing wrong with that. But still, in order to connect with people, you need to communicate with them on a face to face relationship. Now you know this, that communication is key. Key having motivated and productive employees. No one wants to work or be part of a team that they don't know what's going on. So it's extremely important that we keep these lines of communication open during an entire day and plan our day accordingly. If you have any questions about how to implement the lineup, please tweet me at Dr.Alan coaching or email me at drallenci at gmail Com.
Grow, inspire and pass it on. That is my motto. Have a great day. See you next time.
