I came to Dr. Donney in, I think, 2021, and at that time, I had been dealing with abnormal paps for seven years, and I wasn't doing anything to get rid of it. I didn't even know how. All my doctor said was.
Just keep your immune system up. And every year I was going, every year the results came back abnormal. And I just. I got tired of it. It was stressful. My job was stressful. I was very angry at trying to figure out who gave this to me and when it happened. And Dr. Donnie helped me to see and understand that I can't change that. All I could do is focus on what I needed to do in order to get better. And that took a lot of stress off of me. And also learning that stress in itself doesn't help you. It really doesn't help you with this. And it was just. I felt like a lot of you at the time, it was like, just, you know, like a feeling, like in your own little world. And it's like, nobody understands. Nobody knows, you know, like, what I'm going through. Like, you're scared to, like, tell. Tell some of your family or friends, you know, for fear of, like, being shamed about it. And it was literally, like, consuming me at the time. And so I. I think I found Dr. Donnie on Instagram, and I attended one of these workshops just like you. And listening to her go through the information, I was like, okay, this. This has to be a sign. Like, this is it. So to find Dr. Donnie and to see how comprehensive her plan and her protocol is, I was like, this has to work. When I was in my 20s, I had the lead procedure done. At the time, there was no testing for hpv. So I don't know if at that time I had hpv and it just wasn't. I didn't know about it, like, at the time, I wanted to know the root cause of what was causing this not to go away. And I felt like having another leap was not going to solve that. So I signed up with Dr. Donnie in March 2021. I got the whole program. I did the urine test, the hormone test, the food sensitivity test, the cortisol test. I did everything because I didn't want to wonder about, well, what if I go through it? And then I back to the same position that I was in working with the nutritionist, where it went to negative, then it went back to positive. So to give me a peace of mind and comfort, knowing me, I needed to have everything done so I could see everything and know everything of what was going on in my body. And I'm glad that I did that because as the one thing that was eye opening to me, I knew I was stressed.
But when it came to food, like that was just very eye opening to me. I was already like reading labels.
Prior to working with Dr. Joni, but not knowing that there are foods that I was eating that was working against me. And if there's anything like with food, after a while it begins to work against you or work for you. So I much rather it work for me and to know, okay, well, I need to take this out my diet. And I remember asking Dr. Donna, I was like, so am I going to have to take everything out forever? And she said, no, no you won't. We just need to get your gut into a good place, get your hormones balanced.
And then gradually you'll be able to add those things back in.
The abnormal paps. And just going through the forgiveness part of this, it, it really does.
Put you in a space of.
Just being mindful. I learned from Dr. Donnie with doing meditations. I did not do meditations or any kind of mindfulness before meeting her and before working with her. And it feels a little weird at first, but you get used to it. And as long as you find something that works for you, then you'll continue to do it. I still do it now. I still do deep breathing now.
To help calm my body, relax my mind, think of happy thoughts, do happy things.
I also exercise, which helps. And again as part of Dr. Donnie's self care. That's probably like the only thing that I was doing probably when I met her is the exercise portion of it. So like cleaning up my diet and the recovery.
Getting enough sleep. Working with Dr. Donnie in the protocol, I was able to start getting enough sleep. I would text Melissa and be like, oh my gosh, like my watch told me I got eight and a half hours of sleep today. I would be over the moon, happy about every little thing that was happening to help get me to negative. So 20 years later, four years, two what? Two months shy of four years later, I am still HPV negative. Think of the program as a way to.
Get back to you, to get this out of your system and let your body do what it's it's supposed to do and continue. Like, just don't look back because you already have the tools that you'll need in order to keep going forward initially. Like, you're just like, whoa, like I don't have that, you know, like right now. And for me, at the time. I. I'll be honest with you. I charged it. I. I put it on my credit card. And with the specials and the promotions that Dr. Donnie are offering, I. I would suggest, like, finding. If you. Even if you can't do it now, please do it, because you will not find anything on the Internet like this. I can promise you that. If you can't do it now, even now, like, at this moment, map it out, like, later in the year. But I. I know I would not hesitate because the anguish, the stress and the pressure that I put on myself when I was in my last relationship and just dealing with this for seven years, back to back, was stressful enough. I got to a point where I was just tired. I was. I literally. I was tired. And I remember, like, the last appointment I had with my OBGYN at the time. Every single time, she'd be like, we do the pap. And then we would go and do the colposcopy. I got tired of doing those. And she was like, okay, we could just have. Do the leap. And, you know, every single time, Every single time she would say that, I would say, no. I was like, there has to be a better way to get to the root cause of this. There has to be. And then I found Dr. Donnie.
