Dr. Doni Wilson recommends five diagnostic panels for people with high-risk HPV: comprehensive blood work including thyroid and vitamin D, food sensitivity testing, multi-timepoint cortisol and stress-hormone panels, urine hormone markers, and vaginal microbiome analysis. These tests identify underlying factors that increase HPV susceptibility and guide personalized treatment to help clear the virus.

If you tested positive for high-risk HPV virus, there are 5 tests you should be asking your doctor to run for you. The first is comprehensive blood work, not just a CBC and metabolic panel. Get a full thyroid panel as well as fasting glucose, hemoglobin A1C, vitamin D, and iron and B vitamins. Number 2 is a food sensitivity panel. This helps us identify which foods are inflammatory to your body so you know which foods to eliminate from your diet and whether you need to address leaky gut. Number 3 is a full cortisol panel. This is not just a single blood test. This is using either salivary or urinary samples to measure your cortisol at 4 different times a day, as well as urine adrenaline and neurotransmitter levels. So we can see the impact of stress on your body, your stress hormones. And so then I can guide you how to re-optimize them. Number 4 is a urine hormone panel to look at estrogen, progesterone, as well as estrogen detoxification levels. This all comes into play with helping your body to clear HPV. Number 5 is a vaginal microbiome panel so we can find out exactly if there's an issue with your vaginal microbiome so we can address it. These tests will help you figure out what is making you more susceptible to HPV, and then I can guide you how to address anything that we discover so that you can help your body heal from HPV.
