So I just finished my time back in Sydney, and one of the reasons I came down is I had to return a mate's car, but then I needed to get my own car because for me to hire something for about 2 and a half months was going to cost me 10 grand. So I got this little beauty. It is a VX Commodore, absolutely little blighter, got 178,000 kilometers on it. And it is, um, about 4 grand. It cost me 4 grand. But the best thing about this car is this. Hey, hey! Totally old school aerial, CD player, the whole bloody lot. I've got a box of CDs in the back. It's bloody brilliant. So the total time driving from Sydney, Mosvale up to Tennant is 30 hours, 33 hours or something like that. 5 days if you think about it. You've got to split it up. You can't leave too early. You can't stay out on the road too late because of the roos and the cows and the bullocks and the goats and the bloody sheep and everything else on the roads. So I'm driving. I did a big push today. I had 10 hours today. Uh, first day was 6, but because I had to see a doctor, and then the next 3 will be, be somewhere between 6 and 8 per day. Because you've got to leave, you know, an hour after sunrise, an hour before it gets hidden, and you've got to stop and all that sort of stuff. And it's, it's hard driving without Mel, driving by yourself. It's just, it's pretty monotonous. It's beautiful country, etc., but you know, you see a lot of it and you sit still for a long time. So anyway, the bunch of fires up there, Someone lit a fire, so, um, just really stupid. But, um, we'll find out, uh, what's going on once we get there. And the adventure begins. Totally new phase of what I'm doing, a whole bunch of culture and country, and I'm really excited for it.
