4 people on my Instagram have just started watching you. We're streaming to TikTok, your Instagram, my Instagram, my Facebook, my YouTube. Oh, so X can't read or reply. Neither can TikTok in chat. That's why we weren't getting those messages. That's why we got them off YouTube, because you can.
Is that an X thing?
No, it's not an X. It's just, uh, like Instagram won't do it and TikTok won't do it, so they won't let They won't let you talk through the programs.
I guess because they don't want you to be able to be outside of the ecosystem, have a conversation. Water's so brown, it's like reflecting all that light, and it looks really, really bright.
Let's meet the husband, the whole thing artistic. It's gone in the chat. Daddy's watching us. Camera's behind your right shoulder.
Water is like— doesn't look like water. Can you make it the color it actually is? It doesn't look like water.
Camp Bainbridge.
That's our friend Julie that bought some chickens.
I know, I sent her a message saying I'm sitting here with you while you get your painting on. Told her you were going live. Seems to have a problem.
Yeah, kind of did.
Fern is on.
Oh, hi, friend. I'm back.
I can switch over to microphone so you can talk to people while you're painting on Osmo.
No?
Well, the airbook— this mic's on here, so hi Fern, she says.
And what's Camp Bain's name?
Bern wants to know what you're painting. She is painting—
A little tiny sliver of the golf course.
I just say not country club. Also country club. Yeah, country club. She said Julie is Camp Brandbridge.
Yeah.
Well, there's 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 people on my on my account, and you've got. 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 4 people on yours. Is it watercolor? No, acrylic. Acrylic. Please spell acrylic.
A-C-R-Y-L-I-C.
Mina, they can probably hear me say what is acrylic. It's acrylic. What the hell am I doing here? This is— I'm like a crazy person typing. The dyslexic autistic guy trying to type. So that means it takes me like 47 goes to do anything. So yeah, so I should have just talked to you, Camp Bainbridge Julie. You confirm that? Yes, yes, it is. Thank you. Thank you, Julie. Julie just spelled acrylic for me.
She is awesome.
Julie is awesome. Thanks for helping the dyslexic autistic guy get his whatever it is on spelling bee. Wave it, Julie. Put the camera behind you, other side. Doesn't look like I'm going live on TikTok. I don't think it's working. It says it is, so it looks like the TikTok thing has to be done. Um. No, it's going live on the other device, so it's coming in somewhere on TikTok. Um, wish I could stay but have to run. Please do this again. Hey, Fern, we shall. Uh, every Friday afternoon around 4-ish, because like we're artisan, like we forget things, we have got Finally Friday. And so we sit around and talk about all things creative, and you're more than welcome to join in and have a chat about it. And so love to have you. And yeah, we will. I'm trying to talk her into doing this every Friday afternoon as part of Finally Friday, sit and paint and talk about process. But you know, I had to drag her out here, and she doesn't like to be on a camera. Blah blah blah blah blah blah. Anyway. Listen, Fern, give me a couple of weeks. Cheers. Have fun running, doing whatever you're doing. I'm gonna try and say some of these names. Michael Schaefer, Pernille Pointek, Vicki O'Boyd, Imager007. And Purple Muscle 526, Chef Brisk, Miguel, Miguel Afanado, Keeler Official, Gizmo 94, Regenie Campbell, Susan Abbas Zen 7, Diva 9, Rip 92, Mickey Correll, DJ Back 2. Amy Beth, I know I'm stuffing these up, so Pete's just hopped on.
Here you go, Pete. Oh, there it is.
Julie said she's just happy to watch. She's complaining because it's a bit hot. It's Texas. Like, what do you expect? She married a black fella from Australia. So for me, it's like this is just about winter. You got to stop saying you don't like cameras. You're very good at them.
Okay. Can do another one.
Can do another one. What are you gonna do? Anyone got requests? Do not pressure the artist. Come on, Julie. Settle down. All right. Tell her.
Tell him, Julie. Tell him.
No, don't. Don't encourage Julie.
Honey.
Speaking of pressure. We've been watching this Landscape Artist of the Year on Prime, which is awesome. But you know the pressure that those folk put themselves in. Bloody hell! We get a bit of a connection. What are you looking to do?
I can just see the edge of a crepe myrtle.
So oh, we've got some crepe myrtles coming, folks. It's big days here. Timor on Country Club. Oh yeah, my— here I am, just broadcasting this. And here she goes. The artist is dipping the brush.
Stop.
It's exciting, ladies and gentlemen.
Oh, I forgot to bring paper towels.
No paper towels. Oh, bugger. I think the husband's going in search of paper towels.
It's okay.
Husband has returned.
Thanks, husband. You're the best.
MB Bonnie Face, happy to watch what you're drawing. No, thanks very much. She's having fun. I'm not sure what it is. It's like a bit of a tree.
Big mess.
He's making a big mess. Here you go, and May May Paddle and Pookie K. These words are funny to say, this.
What? Thoughts or the relation I want to— who was that?
Um, I don't know. Oh yeah, oh yeah, um, what's her name? That the blonde.
Yeah.
What whatever the hell her name was. Fleetwood Mac.
Ah yes.
Hi, are you Botson? That's Facebook. So no one's sort of getting surprised, but Botson.
Watch lives on Facebook.
I think so. Not at four in the afternoon.
What time is it?
It's two o'clock. So the artist who was previously known as Melissa and still is known as Melissa, she's she. was given this commission on doing this portrait. And, um, it's caused a bit of conniption, hasn't it?
It has.
I think she wants to stick to chickens. And, uh, well, no, we just— you've just been wrestling with a style, haven't you? Like finding, finding your voice when doing it. So it's been interesting.
A new thing.
It is a new thing. We like new things in our house, don't we, dear? How is Hate Patel and Ricardo? Well, you don't ever know where to put the thing. Like with May May Paddle, you understand that you just say May May Paddle. But Ricardo Ovalera, or is Hate Patel, or is it Isat Patel? Because Isat would— I don't know, it's— I don't know what to do with that. I'm not saying their name, I'm just saying like, yeah, how do you do this? You know, I want to be polite to these people. Say g'day, how you going?
He's like, read them really fast. Like, uh, well, yeah, we can read them really fast, but you know, Like, um, it's that bike that everybody gets on, a Peloton, like a Peloton instructor. Give him a shout out.
Happy birthday. Yeah, he shags a lot. Welcome.
Happy birthday.
Yeah, yeah. Okay, let's not do that.
Right, she's very dabby. Fun.
Does anyone out there know how TikTok works? Well, here's people, they're doing lives now. Well, so am I, but how do you, how do you know? Like, does anyone in Instagram know how TikTok works? Because I haven't got a clue. So I use this program called Restreamio. How you going, Kim Kids and Rock and Metal and Pearson's Dog Training Co.? That's good. I got a mate who's a dog trainer. He's a good fella. So I connected this program Restreamio to TikTok so I can do like Instagram and TikTok. So I don't know how it works. You know what I mean? Kman 209, g'day. How you going? Where you going over there?
I'm nearly—
Well, she's nearly done. There you go, folks.
This bit of flowers.
Hey, Julie, which one of these paintings do you like, the one on the left or the one on the right? I'm going to send you a painting, Julie. Probably have to roll it in a tube. It's just on paper, so don't like— well, can't you cut it out of your— well, apparently we can't cut it out of the sketchbook, can we?
We can.
We can. Julie, if you want a painting, just tell me which one.
Don't make Julie take a painting.
No, Julie may not want a painting.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Okay, Julie, apparently you don't want a painting, so Both. If I have to choose, on the right. Well, it looks like Julie wants a painting. She wants both, but, but she'll take the one on the right. So it's just on paper. So like, just roll it up and put it in a tube and send it to you. Sound all right? I do. I do. All right. Julie's in.
Okay.
All right, Julie, the one on the right's gone. Anyone want the one on the left?
Baby, don't be like that.
I'm not being like anything. You just hate— shush, just do your thing. Todd Robinson, how you going? Kimmy Kids came in, said g'day earlier. I'll cover the postage at least. Well, that's very nice of you, Julie. We've got, um, we're gonna do Finally Friday here in about an hour. This was just a little exercise we decided to do. And what we do at Finally Friday is that we, we end the week, 4 o'clock. It's 4 o'clock-ish because we're a bit arty-farty in our house. And, um, and we just talk about all things creative, talk about creative process, talk about the need for creativity in your life. Uh, trauma is creativity as therapy. Uh, so we do a lot of work with people with PTSD. Uh, my background's, you know, personally, I've got a lot of experience in recovering from PTSD. So artist therapy, we talk a lot about that. And so if you're wanting to hop on and ask some questions, then, you know, we'd love to have you. Um, G'day, Bravely Branded. Um, we'd love to have a conversation with you this afternoon. So we stream it on a bunch of platforms, but I think Instagram's really our tribe. I think we, we like Instagram, don't we? Yeah, we do. So, um, we're on X if that's more convenient for you, and I think I'm on TikTok. I don't know if I'm on TikTok. I think I'm on TikTok. Can't work out TikTok. I've got 1,500 people who follow me on TikTok and watch all my stuff, and apparently it's doing well. You were chosen for more. Okay, so, um, so yeah, so I don't know what any of that means really. I was doing LinkedIn for a while, but I don't even know what they do.
LinkedIn?
Well, you know how LinkedIn works, you know. I think some of these platforms just say, oh well, you know, this fella's got this thing, so I'm gonna have that as well. I don't know if they ever actually do anything. So, fellas, if you're out there, we've got Man Church tomorrow. Manchurch.online. It's a men-only Bible study. We scream on a lot of platforms because the wives want to know what's going on, and that's good. But we have it for about. About 20 or 30 minutes, we stream it, then we turn it off and the fellas ask questions. Why I do that is because if you've ever, you know, seen a lady walk into a room with a bunch of men, they all suck in their guts and pull their chest out. And I want guys to be able to be relaxed and talk about, you know, what it is to be a— to love Christ, love their wife, love their family. G'day, Deborah, how you going? And, um, so that's tomorrow, 8 AM Central, manchurch.online. So fellas, come along and pop in. So listen, Julie has taken the picture on the right. If anybody wants the picture on the left, let me know. Julie says I should. Well, yeah, Julie's just awesome. Pdh Nicholson 8013. G'day, Denali. The Dina Lynn Osborne. I think that's what it is. G'day, how you going? All right, folks. How you going over there?
Good.
You done for the day?
Yeah.
Well, the wife's a bit hot, so, um, we might end here and we'll see you in a couple of hours at Finally Friday. So come with your questions. We got a bunch of questions from last week we're gonna try and answer about the purpose and place for creativity and, you know, what it means, especially dealing with life, you know. Trauma, life. Life can be traumatic. You too, Julie. And Mrs. Bagelags will. Well, yeah, we will. Thanks. We'll. It's got to dry and you know whatever. Whatever she. She got. She got to do all the things. So we'll sort it out for you. So yeah, see you at this afternoon at four o'clock for finally Friday if you want to pop on anyone and then Man Church. 8 a.m. tomorrow morning. That'll be Saturday. Coffee, cigars, and Christ, fellas. So bring a cigar, coffee. Bring your own coffee. Bring your own cigar. And it'll be awesome. All right, you lot. Cheerio. Appreciate you. Thanks for sharing an hour with us. And if you wanna hop on again for Finally Friday, we will take a whole bunch of questions on creativity, creative process. I'm thinking of getting a couple of artists on that Mel's friends with and a couple of writers I'm friends with so we can have a chat next couple of weeks. Should be good. All right. Cheerio.
