Hey, in, in my book Deal With It, I talk about John 1.0 and John 2.0. And part of the process of redefining normal for yourself is coming to terms with understanding that you are now a different person. The person you were before a trauma and the person you are after a trauma, neurologically and physiologically, that's 2 totally different people. I went from being a very goal-orientated, long-term planner to being someone who wanted to sit under a tree and write, write poetry and smoke a cigar. I went from incredibly ambitious to just reflective. And it wasn't until I came to terms with who John 2.0 was and started to embrace him and understand the likes, the passions, and the behaviors that once were me were no longer, only at that point did I come to terms with who I was now and be comfortable in my own skin.
