How To Start Your Own Sex Trafficking Operation

Dr. John A. King explains how traffickers recruit young people through fake modeling profiles on Instagram and Craigslist, using copied photos and promises of glamorous shoots. Every rescued victim followed the same pattern: flattery, travel offers, then isolation at an in-person meeting. Parents need to recognize these warning signs.

Hey, how you doing? Well, I hope the title of the post got your attention. I want to talk to you this morning about how to start your own human sex trafficking ring here in the United States of America. It's based upon the work that we've done with a group of our friends with Give Them a Voice Foundation. And I want to outline to you how you can actually start your own human trafficking ring because this is how it happens. What you do is you don't bother going to Backpage or one of those sites. You've got Craigslist. You've got Craigslist is is is there. It's available across the nation, and you post things like looking for models and looking for young models. The other thing is you go to Instagram and you establish yourself as a 18, 19, 20-year-old model. You go to Google Images and you pull up some images of other people, and you populate an Instagram account, and then you go out. There and you troll and you start to friend a whole lot of people that look very attractive and are very young. And then you start to talk to them about parties and great opportunities and how beautiful they are and how wonderful you are. And you offer to fly them to a photo shoot somewhere. You use big names and you use fashion icons and you use fashion labels and you get all these Young people wonderfully excited, and then you invite them with, hey, you've got to do this on the slide. You know, I'll send you a contract and we'll work it all out. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to send you money for a ticket. I'm going to buy you a ticket. So you turn up at this airport at this time and we'll fly you. And literally these kids will go and hop on a plane and go, or meet me at such and such a place. We just happen to be in town for a photo shoot and we would like to meet with you. So Once you've engaged with that person, and we're not talking 6 months, 8 months, 12 months, you're better off keeping your engagement small so that this young person doesn't talk about it too much to their family and friends and their parents don't look on their Instagram account because that's violating their rights as a young person. They don't follow them on Facebook. So once you've got them in your web, you just invite them for a meet. You turn up all dressed up all nice. You hire a car from Hertz for $45 if you want to. Really lash out on image projection, and then you just pick them up and it's away. Every one of the kids that we have been involved with rescuing, it started that way. Every one of these kids, it started that way. In fact, the girls say, or the boys say, that they've been watching the Kardashians. They've been watching The Girl Next Door. They've been watching the stuff on the Playboy Farm, and they think, man, I want that. I want all that money and all that glitter and all that glamour. And they just want that. They've got that in their mind that that is what intimacy is, and that's how they get to head. So that's how you start your own human trafficking ring here in the United States of America. And parents, that's how your kids get caught up in human trafficking here in the United States of America.
