Hi, I'm Jessie Yoon, and this is my review of Dr. John A. King's Deal with It. I'm going to make it short and sweet and not mention any specific parts of the book because the whole book as a whole is a work of art. I purchased the book for a loved one who has CPTSD, and I wanted to read it first. And upon finishing it, I believe that this book will benefit anyone and everyone who reads it because To me, it was an inspirational love story before anything else. First, I believe it's a love story of Dr. King and himself for having faith and the resilience to believe in himself and to never give up. And secondly, there's the love of his wife Mel and their amazing and supportive friends, which you'll find very inspirational as well. Dr. King's story made me feel. It also made me laugh and cry. It made me feel connected. It gave me hope, and it made me feel stronger. And even though I don't particularly enjoy reading books, I found myself enjoying this one from start to finish. His story made me realize that we really are all connected. I think it's the authenticity of his character which really made me feel proud of who I am and encouraged me to be more open and honest and be real with myself. So I know that doesn't say much about the content of the book, but that's how strongly I feel about the book and want you all to read it for yourself and see what you think. But in short, yes, I recommend this book to everyone. So thank you again. It's a very relatable book and very inspirational book. It'll make you feel braver just for having read it. So please check it out. Thank you.
