Once it's all set up, I think it's just a matter of doing this.
Mm-hmm. I think so. So now I should be able to see you when you go live on Instagram.
AI butts. Now I've got a little Did it go live?
See, let me just search for you on here.
Hello, am I live? Anybody? I just don't know. I'm living, but am I live? You It's an existential crisis.
I didn't get any, uh, like notification and it doesn't look—
And the thing is, I have no way of telling if I'm live because I'm speaking to this bloody screen in the middle of this bloody place.
Okay. So you're not live on YouTube either?
I'm not live on YouTube either.
So let's go back to your Zoom window. Says it's okay. So it's being sent to Restream, apparently.
Let's move this onto another screen. Select live stream.
Live on customs.
Live stream will automatically send your stream to your destinations.
Yeah, just refresh on YouTube.
Oh, it's saying it's true. Hello, I'm live.
You are live.
Apparently, I'm live now. I've been live for 57 seconds. So one person watching on YouTube. I think it's my wife. So this is—I think it's exciting. I've got no idea if it is exciting.
Look, Lauren said, "Oh, good on you." Hi, Lauren.
How are you? You're on YouTube. So how are you going? You want got any questions about anything? My wife's talking to you. Let's see if there's anyone on Instagram. We're trying this new fancy program that's supposed to stream a couple of things.
And let me go search for you on Instagram and see if it's live.
We're supposed to be live on Instagram. If anyone knows how to use this, please help me.
You don't look live.
I don't look live on Instagram.
I think everyone has a break.
So I'm not live on Instagram, but I am with you, Lauren.
Um, let's see, what was the other one? X.
X and LinkedIn.
I'll check LinkedIn. You check X. Cool. You are—
look, I'm live on X. That's good. So I'm not quite sure what to do with that. Oh, um, so look, I'm just trying this new program. If anyone's on X, you wanna ask a question or something? So help me out if there's anyone there. I've got 2 hearts. I don't know who from. Probably my wife and a bot.
Who else?
Oh, I just hearted, unhearted myself.
Oh, you're live on LinkedIn and I'm live on LinkedIn.
Good job. So that's good. Apparently I'm on LinkedIn. X. Is that all we went on?
So Instagram is the only one that's not working.
Instagram's not working. Bloody Instagram. Bloody Zuckerberg. So, so maybe I need to change the orientation on the card now. All right. Well, look, all of you, it's been fascinating. I know this is enthralling for you as it is for me. And I wanna thank you for your patience and just, uh, oh, there's a chat thing there. Oh, hi, Lauren. I can see you and I can actually see you in the thing. I'm here to eat up everything you create. I share with my veteran mates. Your work is really good. Well, that's nice of you. Well, seeing as you're the only person I'm talking to out of like 5 platforms, you've got my attention for the next 10 minutes. Ask away.
Thanks.
The wife's here with me. 11:43. Theoretically, 3— you should still be there, I think. Hey, Lauren, you wanna check if I'm on Instagram too? I don't think I am. I am on X. Saw that movie on X the other night, Lauren. Citizen Vigilante. I thought that was very interesting. Not very politically correct, that's for sure. Lauren's still there. Hey, Lauren, how you going?
She said, any advice for my veteran mates?
Moral injuries. It's a big problem, not easily treated. What do you mean by moral injuries? Um, what, what do you, when you say that, um, moral injuries, just explain that to me. Sure. Okay, great. You should just ring us sometime. Like, seriously, text the missus. You wanna ring up and have a chat? We'll just have a chat. But this is kind of fun. It'd be good to do this, get questions and answers over multiple platforms.
You learn. I like the chat thing.
Yeah, the chat's good. Lauren, do you know how to use this thing, this program with Instagram? Do you wanna become our IT chick?
Stop. Poor Lauren, she probably got better things to do.
Mel says you've got better things to do, Lauren. I don't think so. I think, I think we're the highlight of your day. Moral injuries. I'll look it up. But the thing is, Lauren, I'm the world's slowest internet.
Right.
And I've got 84,000 tabs open, Lauren. So I, I don't actually know where you are now. Oh, crap.
Where did you—
I don't know. Maybe I just canceled Lauren. Oh, bugger. Oh, no, there you are. You're back together. Um, I'm checking Instagram. Good on you.
That's what they call it. Moral injury.
We're looking it up. Moral injury. A part of my soul broke because of what happened. Yeah. Well, that's trauma, innit? Um, VA calls it psychological, behavioral, social, and sometimes spiritual aftermath. Um, yeah, I see that a lot in, um, trauma victims of any kind. People who have been through stuff, you know, be it sexual abuse or be it a rape situation, be it a fireman. My cousin, he's got a lot of that moral injury from deaths he saw as a young firefighter. So in terms of dealing with that, I think part of that whole thing is your past will either refine you or define you. So, uh, if you allow your past to define you, then you'll always stay in that spot. If you learn of it and understand, you know, in my case, it was going from John 1.0 to 2.0 and 2.0 to 3.0. These were an ongoing thing. And so I think with, with people who were dealing with trauma like your veteran friends, it's part of being able to reframe that whole process. And there's a gratitude exercise we do Oh, that's very powerful. He's like, what did this thing teach me over here? Yeah. So massacres and the act of massacres, I was, I was, I've dealt with a fellow like that. And so this will sound odd, but so let me just internalize it because I can't, I can't relate to what those guys went through, but I can relate to what happened to me. So I was raped as a kid. And so, so these things happened to me, not by me. These things were inflicted on just like those guys were inflicted on where they couldn't do it because of it. But everything we go through, be it good or bad, teaches us something. There's something that we gain from it, something that we learn from it. And I look back at my life and I can say what was done To me, not by me, made me into the man I am today. And I like that man. That man, I mean, that journey of process, the things that I've learned about patience, about kindness, about gratitude, about self-forgiveness, those are all qualities that I'm taking forward into life. You can't change your past, but you can reframe your future. So they can't change what happened to them in Rwanda, But they can allow it to point forward to them. And I think that's the rule across the board with any sort of trauma. It's not the very specific nature of the trauma. It's a very passionate and determined decision to live future-facing. I hope that helps. So that's all on YouTube. That's good. So we're not on Instagram, but are we? I think it's because we had to restart Instagram.
Yeah.
And, you know, when I didn't put that fresh key in, that's what they do. But anyway, so Lauren, hey Lauren, are you on the Phoenix Collective? If not, you should be. Um, you should have a look at it. So what we did is take, uh, you know, 15, 16 years worth of, um, 15, 16 years worth of trauma recovery. And we put it into a course about 2, 18 months, 2 years long. And for people that are wanting to go through it, it's about $97 for a lifetime. Um, because you are the only person in the world that we're talking to at the moment and we're trying this new program, if you want to, if you wanna drop Melissa an email, then we'll get you on the program and, uh, we'll get you to beta test it. See what you think, because we think it's bloody awesome. Well, it actually is awesome. It's, you know, 15 years and $300,000 worth of recovery crammed into an 18-month course. And so, um, no, I'm not, but sounds ace. Shoot me your email. Yeah, you wanna drop me your email? Okay. Mel's typing. Yeah. Free account. She's gonna create you a free account. There she is there. That's wife.
Oh, hello.
And we'll create your free account. And if you wanna jump on and have a look at it, have a test and let us know what you think. I think we'll go. Hope this was fun. I know it's a lag. Yay, technology. Yeah, I know. But I think they do that too. I don't know why.
I don't know. I, I think she's going through Restream and coming back. Y'all doing okay?
We are. Thank you so much. Do you guys need anything?
No, I think we're all set.
It is. Thank you very much. That was the waiter guy just saying hi. We paid the bill. We're not gonna skip out. Integrity and all that sort of stuff.
All the integrities.
All the integrities. Oh, well, cool. Well, thanks for being there. I hope it filled in like 15 minutes of your life. We thank you. We, we thank you for that gift. Um, but look, yeah, drop, drop, uh, Lisa an email and we'll sort you out. So as far as everybody else on Twitter and who's not there, piss off. We're fine. We've got Lawrence. We're working it out.
Say bye.
Okay. Mel says I've got to go. We've got to go home and have a date, which is good. We could do with one of those. Right. Cheerio. Now I've got to work out how to stop it.
I would think you just end your Zoom meeting.
All right. Ending the Zoom meeting. Let us know if this works, Lauren. But you won't be able to know if it works because you won't be here. Be right here. Mel's gonna be right here on YouTube.
