What do I think of this book? Written by Dr. John A. King. One mister. #DealWithIt. Living Well with PTSD. Um, I have read a lot of literature in my life, and a lot about PTSD. This is by far the most raw, honest, helpful book that I have read. I, I Love that it is written for a variety of people. I think anybody that has ever struggled with being knocked on their ass and not knowing what to do or where to go or how to turn, I think this provides a really nice roadmap. Very raw, honest truth. The best thing is that it's not a, this will fix you, or, this will cure you. This is a, alright dude, this Deal with it. What can you do? And he provides like these awesome— all of the tools that he used. And I'm a firm believer that emotions need to be tended like a garden, that they work in cycles, and all that any of us sometimes can do is have tools and tips and tricks. And he provides A wealth of resources in this book. Um, I admire him for doing this, and I hope that we all can continue to stop feeling ashamed. 'Cause shame's like quicksand, man. If you don't get out, it'll sink you under.
