In this short vlog, Dr. John A. King introduces his upcoming 6‑to‑7‑week stay at New Bush Camp, where he will be living in an old school bus that has been converted into a temporary home. He walks the viewer through the current state of the bus—airing it out after a wet night, installing a mattress, a table, and chairs, and cleaning the floor. He explains that the bus will be driven deeper into the bush to provide privacy, and points out the nearby water and dams that form the backdrop of the camp. Throughout, his tone remains informal and upbeat, expressing enthusiasm about the “absolutely brilliant” experience he anticipates and promising to keep viewers updated.

So welcome to home for the next 6 weeks, 7 weeks. Old school bus. Oh, we're just airing it out at the moment, so bed will be there. I'll put a table here, maybe a couple of chairs. We're probably going to drive it up into the bush a little bit out here, um, so we can get away, have a little bit of privacy. Here we are at New Bush Camp. That's the water, that's the dams behind us, and here is where we're staying. There's her in there, and this is her luxurious abode. It's absolutely bloody brilliant. There's a mattress. She's just cleaning up the floors and getting it all ready. So here's home for the next 7 weeks, and, uh, it's going to be absolutely brilliant. That bus is bone dry. We had The huge wet last night, and it came in, um, absolutely brilliant. So yeah, really looking forward to it. It's going to be fun. Keep you updated.
