Hey, a lot of the— probably the biggest turning point in my own journey with post-traumatic stress, and I spent a lot of time talking about this in the book Deal With It, and with people at events or book signings or whatever it is, whatever appearance I'm doing, is there comes a point where you have to redefine normal for yourself. A lot of the times we're trying to compare ourselves with who we were. We're trying to compare ourselves to other people, and comparisons are not only odorous, they're dangerous. The way you're now wired post-trauma, the way you're thinking, even the things you like and, and the things that captivate you and the things that scare you are not as they used to be. And to compare them to other people does everyone a disservice. You have to redefine your normal in order to walk forward and to enjoy the life that you've been given.
