Hey, 1-minute book review on Andy Weir's Hail Mary. Brilliant to bollock-o-meter. Full brilliant. Here's why. When I read this book, I was reading a bunch of stuff, you know, as always, and I just bought a series of books, and every one of those bloody books was peddling some sort of an agenda. It was political or it was sexual identity or— and it was just bullshit after bullshit. And I remember picking up this book thinking, oh, what the hell? First of all, Hail Mary. Oh, bloody hell, it's going to have a go at Christians. Guy in Space. Oh, bloody hell, they're going to try and weave something in there. And you know what? It was a delightful surprise. It's just a bloody good book. The guy has focused on craft and not on Some other bollocks that's floating around. He's a bloody good writer. The Martian was a brilliant story, brilliant movie, and I'm really looking forward to seeing this as a movie to come out. So in summary, Andy Weir, Hail Mary, absolutely gets full send, full brilliant.
