Good morning. My name is Dr. John King. Several weeks ago, Veronica Birkenstock, who is running for Congress here in Texas next year, introduced me to the new sheriff in town, Bill Waybourn. Wonderful people, both passionate about seeing the sexual abuse of children and human trafficking stopped here in Texas. Texas, unfortunately, has surged to number 2 in the nation, and from what we see, we believe it's going to be number 1, which is something that just is not acceptable. Sheriff Waybourn asked if we would come in and do a private screening of the Stopping Traffic film. The impact was profound. We had members of the DA office there, Texas Rangers, local prisons, local PD, 501s working in the space as well. Everyone was impacted by the movie, by its message, and by the stories. It's a wonderful experience to see a community rally around an issue like human trafficking that so many don't want to touch on or talk about because they're so determined to do something about it. I just want to thank Veronica for her stance. I want to thank her for making the stopping of trafficking a pillar in her electoral process coming up next year. I want to encourage all of you to actively seek out your local officials and find out what they plan to do. on this issue and other human rights issues. Have a great day, and if you have a chance, please stop by and have a look at the video testimony of Sheriff Waybourn on my site.
