I'm here with Xavier Webb. He's Red Deal with it and he's come up and we're having lunch together. So I'm 31 years old. I joined the Marine Corps at the age of 18 in 2005. I went to Iraq in 2006, 2007. I was in Fallujah. I was in a heavy weapons platoon. And then I went back again in 2008 and then got out in 2009. Saw my fair share of shit over there. I thought I had dealt with a lot of my issues, my anxieties. I thought I had dealt with that when I got out, and I hadn't. I had just compartmentalized a lot of it. And reading this book has encouraged me to get on with the recovery process of my life, to stop procrastinating, to just do it. Just do it, deal with it, and move on and accept it and go forward.
