Rhinoplasty is widely accepted by all plastic surgeons to be the most complex of all cosmetic surgeries performed. Average number of rhinoplasties performed by the average plastic surgeon in the US is about one a month in a rhinoplasty specialist practice. Typically you're dealing with two to four a week. In my practice, depending on the time of year, I'm doing two to six rhinoplasties a week now. If you compare, for example, a car, you can look at a certain car, look at all over the country and get the best price for the exact same car. However, paying more doesn't always guarantee great results either. You have to do your research, make sure your surgeon is board certified. But much more than that is important. Look at before after pictures. Look at the training and the actual practice structure of the surgeon to make sure rhinoplasty is essentially most of what the surgeon is doing on a day to day basis.
