Dr. Naderi gets Ultherapy for Non-surgical Brow Lift

Hi. You guys have seen me do a lot of stuff to other patients. Give them injections, do procedures, do nose jobs on them. Well, now it's my turn. So we're gonna get Ultherapy, but I'm the one getting it today. So Ultherapy is the only FDA approved tightening method. It's a collagen building method. It's a collagen stimulation method. So somebody who needs a true facelift, they need to kind of pull things, lift it really tight. Ultherapy is not for you. You have to do a facelift. But if you try to avoid getting a facelift in the future, if you try to get a subtle improvement, maybe it's a little too early for a facelift and you want to see if you can delay it or actually avoid it altogether, this is a good option. So it's ultrasound energy. You may have heard of thermog, which is radio frequency. This is the next generation of technology. It's a little bit better. You may have heard some negative stuff online because patient selection is important. If you need a facelift and you didn't get a facelift and you went to a spa, they sold you this, you're going to be unhappy. Expectation is really, really important. But what we're going to do here is actually, I'm a little selfish. I bought this machine. It's an expensive machine. Patients love it. But I bought it because I don't want to age. I want to age gracefully. And not just me. My staff, my family, my friends, I want them to all age gracefully. Now, there's a little misconception about aging gracefully. Some people think aging gracefully means don't do anything. I just want to age gracefully. No, that's not the answer. Aging gracefully is having been plastic surgeon, that can do little things for you. Little here, little there, little there, little micro treatments so that you can look your best throughout your age. That doesn't mean letting everything go. That just means you don't want to end up looking plastic. You don't end up looking fake, but you can still look your best at any age. And all therapy is a device that can help with that. So Avahu is one of my best laser techs, will demonstrate on me. Actually, it's a little bit uncomfortable, so you may see me cringe. Don't worry, it's bearable. Hopefully I won't be crying or screaming, but it really, truly works. And the way it works is it stimulates collagen production. You're not going to see me next week looking like I'm 12 years old. That's not going to happen, but it's going to stimulate collagen. It's going to tighten things up. Today what we're doing is we're focusing on the brow. That's all. We have time. I finished seeing my patients in the day. I've injected them, I've had nose jobs this morning. I'm done for the day. We're in the office. I'm just going to play around and we're going to do my eyebrows and in the future I may do this area, but this is just a little baby step for me. Starting to do a little bit something for myself. Right now I'm 45. I want to look the best I can. All right, ready? Let's do it. Go easy on me, alright? Not too easy. I want to see results.
So basically when we perform the Ulthera treatment, we look on the screen and it's like an ultrasound. Basically when you go and look for the baby inside your stomach, you can see all the structures underneath. With the Ulthera, we can see all the bone, we can see the tissue, we can see blood vessels. So we're basically looking for the correct target to treat. Now, when I perform this treatment on Dr. Nadiri, since it is his forehead and it is a bony area, I need to make sure that his bone is underneath this line. That is the correct parameters for this treatment. Are you ready, Dr. Nadiri?
As ready as I'll be.
So as you can see, this is his bone right here. And we're going to fire. Just make sure that it lines up correctly.
That's it. Is it fun? No. Is it bearable? Yes. Did I cry? Not a single tear, but it hurts. But again, it's bearable. You do it once a year, maybe twice a year, maybe every other year. And it's going to stimulate collagen from a little red. It's going to be a little sore for a couple days, but there's really no downtime. You can go out, especially for women, you can put some makeup on immediately. For guys, again, just going to be a little bit red from the pressure and some of the zapping. So that's all therapy. If you want to learn more and come meet Ava Taylor and our staff, call the office.
