Short, patient-facing video by Dr. Shervin Naderi explaining the ND YAG capillary treatment. Describes indications (broken capillaries, blood vessels, spider veins, red discoloration), precision of the laser, its use to fine-tune skin after a series of 3–6 BBL treatments, expected short-lived redness (24–48 hours), and that vessels may shrink or be vaporized. Notes maintenance is required for pigmentation.

Here we have our ND YAG capillary treatment. It's great to treat broken capillaries, blood vessels, spider veins and red skin discoloration. I love it because it's so fine tuned and precise. I can actually go directly over the capillary I want treated and in front of your eyes it disappears. I really like using this treatment to fine tune patient's skin after they've completed a series of three to six BBL treatments. Because it's so precise that I can actually go in and treat the particular vessels that were resistant to the BBL treatments with any sort of non invasive, non surgical procedure. We do require maintenance, especially when we are treating for pigmentation since it's something our body naturally creates initially. After the treatment patients may have a little bit of redness on the areas treated but that typically subsides within 24 to 48 hours and then what they'll notice is that vessel will either shrink and it will be much more subdued or it is completely vaporized.
