So we're starting with the Juvederm Ultra XC to the lips and you're going to see my technique for her lips. Ready? So she's been numbed, it's been dental blocked up. What I'm going to start doing is penetrating right at the red lip. Then I like to fill as I'm going in. That pushes blood vessels out of the way so we get less bleeding. Then I also feel as I'm coming out. You can see a nice improvement right there. Already very little bleeding so far, but bleeding with the lips is fairly frequent. They're very vascular structures. Again, it's a smooth penetration and filling and withdrawal. No jabbing movement. Give yourself a little bit of tension right there. Use your left hand or your non dominant hand to help yourself out. You can already see the right side of the lip versus the left side of the lip. How much better roll there is on the right side of the lip. We're going to keep going. Feel any of this? No, not at all. Perfect. The injections are submucosal, they're not in the muscle. If there's a little bit of bleeding, just hold a little pressure. It stops nicely. Make sure you filter the same area that you started off on the contralateral side. And that's it essentially for the top lips. Now we're going to go to the bottom lip to balance it out. She has full bottom lips to start with. We don't need to do too much there. See the injection? Very gentle. Gentler you are, the less swelling edema you're going to create. See, I'm tightening the lip with my left hand. Again, very little pain. Now put your lips together for me. Good. Relaxing. Now her lips are going to be numb. So she doesn't have very good control of her lips for the next two hours. What I'm going to do is I'm going to just massage it. Any lumpy bumpiness with Juvederm is essentially just little tiny micro bruises or small tiny little hematomas or swelling around the injection sites. Because Juvederm is very soft, it's almost impossible to get actual lumps of Juvederm unless you put too much in one place. Put your lips together. Alright. Relaxing. Lumps look very good. Gonna do a little bit more right here. It takes about three or four days for the lips to look really good. But immediately right now, if tonight she has to go to a party, she could certainly wear a little bit of lipstick. Alright, that's essentially it for the lips. Now we talked a little Bit about the corner of the mouth. She's starting to form very small marionettes. So I'm going to take the Juvederm. Put her right there at the corner. She's very young, doesn't need a lot, but you can see you can fill that area as you fill it. See what just happened to this corner of the mouth compared to this one. You got a little bit down turn a little shadow there. Now we don't have that on this side. I'm going to switch to the other side. Do the same thing over here. Just one drop. Fill that area in and as it fill, you withdraw. Just look at the corner of the mouth. Elevate. Beautifully filled there. Good. I'm going to put a little bit more on this side now that I'm looking at it over here. The two sides of the fish are never ever perfectly even, but you can certainly make them as close as possible. And as I'm massaging it, obviously I'm feeling the Juvederm. I'm feeling the swelling. I'm feeling where it needs more, where it needs less, in my fingers as well. Good. Remember, she doesn't have control of her lips right now, so she's going to be even holding her lips a little bit lopsided, but once that numbing wears off, evens out of my fingers. I can feel that's perfect. Leave it on both sides. Very good. That was a very quick injection of the tear troughs and the lips. It didn't take more than about 15 minutes to do it all together and she actually drilled down for this. So it can be done about once or twice a year, very safely if you stick with the proper fillers. Thanks.
