Hi, we're going to talk about Volbella today. I've made videos about different injectable materials. This one is about the Juvederm Volbella substance. Really what we're about to do today can be done with Restlun, can be done with Juvederm Ultra or Ultra plus, not Voluma for this area. But Volbella has characteristics that are perfect for this. Now, as we know, aging is not about dropping or gravity, it's about loss of volume. And some areas such as, for example, lips, earlobes, temples, these areas tend to lose the volume mid face, a little bit more so than other places. And then gravity pulls things down. Now, earlobe volume. And some of my colleagues actually do hand injections. You can see Dr. Imeser for those injections. But for the earlobes, Bulbella works very nicely.
I'm going to demonstrate that technique right now. So we have actually Bulbella drawn up.

So come around and you can see it really well.
So you have to be cognizant of where the piercings are. You're not going into the piercing, but you can see as we lose volume, it tends to want to wrinkle on itself and kind of collapse it a little bit. Holding the earlobe gently, Starting to volumize it. I'm injecting on both anterogate and retrograde. It does have some lidocaine in it, so it numbs up more. And as you can see, it starts to support the earlobe better. I overfilled just ever so slightly because there is some swelling in this that'll go down and in three or four days basically gets to the appropriate volume. This is mainly for the earlobe. You don't really want to go into the cartilaginous part. And you can see what it did immediately. It's a smoother, more youthful earlobe shape, little bit of pressure. There should be no bruising holding the earlobe. Be careful, don't poke yourself. Make sure if the patient jumps, you don't get startled. Sometimes you go in cross linking patterns. Again, essentially it's a three dimensional volumization. You're not injecting a line itself. You're basically trying to add plumpness to the entire earlobe. It's going to be a little bit stiffer for a few days. That's pretty much it. A little bit more in this area. How bad is the paint. Not too bad? No, not at all. Smoother. A little bit to the apex. A little bit more volume in this area. You can see a better shape to the earlobe. Smoother contour. Kind of working around her piercings. A little bit right here. Want to have a nice round earlobe here. She's a little thin. This should be the last one. That's it. So once this is done, just holding a little bit of pressure to prevent any kind of bruising, and you can see better content to the earlobe. That's one of the uses of Bobella. Again, wrestling could be used. Druidum Ultra could be used even Ultra plus, potentially. But my favorite was wrestling and Judem Ultra until Vobella became available. And now with Volbella, this is going to be the go to for earlobes. Thank you.
