Hi, I'm Dr. Jessica Culak at the Naderi Center. Today we're going to do another video on lip injections. We have a lovely patient here today, and while she's got some beautiful shape and actually some nice natural fullness to the lips, she wants to get just a little more volume, a little more plumpness, and just to kind of smooth out the lips and give a little more volume to the top lip. She's got a nice full bottom lip. And so we're going to just enhance the lips today with just a little Juvederm. Going in from the corner to fill out the sides a bit, just with a little definition along the border here. She's had some numbing cream on. Topical numbing for most people is all they need. The lips are the most sensitive area. So they do. They do have a little sensation even with the numbing cream, but most people tolerate it very well with just the cream. How are you doing? Okay. Little stinging sensation. Just do a little bit at a time. I don't want any big lumps of filler all at once. I like to enhance the cupid's bow because that's a very pretty, natural part of the lip and it gives a nice look to keep that shape. She's got a very nice shape to the lips, so we want to keep that shape. Adding filler shouldn't really take away the shape of any. It should just enhance it. Now we're just going to fill out a little bit of the. To give it a nice fullness and then just a little bit. I always smooth as I'm going just to give a nice. A nice smooth look. Here. Good. You already start to see the lips filling out. She's got a lot of fullness right in the center. So she does need a little bit more on the sides just to give a nice, even fullness.
