A short instructional/demo video transcript by Dr. Shervin Naderi showing tear-trough (under-eye) filler injections using Restylane. The speaker demonstrates technique (needle placement on bone, small droplets), gives practical details (uses a 0.5 cc syringe costing $350; results last ~1 year in tear troughs), warns against superficial injections and possible vascular bleeds, and notes the combined procedure (lips + tear troughs) takes about 15 minutes. Emphasis is on proper depth to avoid worsening eyelid appearance and on safety when using appropriate fillers.

Okay, so now we're going to do the tear trough injection. I'm using Restylane. I'm using a very small half cc syringe of Restylane. The cost of this half cc is only $350 and actually it lasts about a year in the tear trough area. The lips we inject a couple times a year for the tear troughs are about once a year. We're going to show this technique. Come on up. Close your eyes for me. You can actually come on this side. So I feel the area that I'm going to inject with my hands. I tighten the area, I get the needle all the way down on the bone and I'm doing really tiny little droplets on top of the bone. You definitely don't want to be too superficial with these. Just that little. You can see the big difference. I like to actually change the position a little bit right there on top of the bone as you push it down, flattens out very nicely. There are some big blood vessels in this area, but if you get a bleeder, just hold some pressure, don't panic. Open your eyes for me. Good. Look up at the ceiling. Close your eyes. Good, perfect. Let me have you. Bring your right hand and hold this one for me. We're going to switch to the other side. Same thing, bevels down. I feel the area go right down on top of the bone. Make sure you're on the bone. Make sure you're not injecting into the skin. Make sure you're not injecting into the muscle or into the fat. I've seen injections that are way too superficial. What happens is people come back after going and getting those types of injections and they show me their eyelids and it looks like somebody made their eyelid bags worse. The problem is, since I hadn't seen them before, I can't tell what's the injection and what's the actual fat that they have. So we have to wait a year for everything to wear off before I can actually fix it for them. But in this case, you can see immediately it improved. That's it. Very little bleeding in her case. And now that tear trough area is filled out very nicely. May I behold this. And we're pretty much done. That was a very quick injection of the tear troughs and the lips. It didn't take more than about 15 minutes to do it all together. And she actually drilled down for this. So it can be done about once or twice a year, very safely if you stick with the proper fillers. Thanks. It.
