A short YouTube video in which Ava, a licensed master esthetician at the Nadiri Center, introduces and endorses the Candela GentleMax Pro laser device. She describes its two selectable wavelengths — alexandrite (755 nm) for fair skin and YAG (1064 nm) for deeper penetration on darker skin tones — and explains clinical uses (laser hair removal, small capillary removal, treating small 'strawberry moles'). She highlights safety and comfort features: consistent/ even energy pulses and a cryogen (evaporated dry ice) pulse delivered before and after each laser pulse. The speaker notes she has used versions of this machine for over 12 years and invites viewers to book a consultation.

Hey, everyone. I'm Ava. I'm the licensed master esthetician here at the Nadiri Center. I wanted to take a couple moments and go over my absolute favorite device in the office. It's the Candela Gentle Max Pro. It's the machine that I use for laser hair removal. Actually, I have worked with this machine, different versions of this machine, for over 12 years now, and it is still my favorite machine when it comes to treating unwanted hair. This machine has two different wavelengths that we can utilize when we're treating hair on different skin tones. The first, we actually have it right here. It's called the Alex. It's alexandrite laser. It is a 755 wavelength. So it's very superficial. This wavelength is amazing for treating patients with fairer skin types, since we don't really have to worry about the color of the patient's skin when we are treating for hair removal. However, when we are treating darker skin tones, more olive skin tones, and African skin tones, the wavelength that we use is actually called the Yag. It's a 1064 wavelength. It penetrates the skin at a deeper level, so it doesn't necessarily see the superficial color that is associated with the patient's skin. And therefore, we're able to do our laser hair removal treatment safely and effectively for even the darkest skin tones. What this machine also helps me with is small capillary removal. So if a patient has one or two stubborn, tiny little vessels that are around their nose or, you know, their neck, corners of mouth, things like that, after they've undergone a series of BBL treatments, come back and I'll fine tune with the YAG laser. I'll go in and treat their broken capillaries that are still resistant and stubborn and deeper in the skin with this machine. And it's really nice to kind of add a finishing touch to their previous sessions of bbl. Another thing that's really great about the Candela gentlemax Pro is that it has been the gold standard for laser hair removal for years. It emits even pulses of energy. So you can rely on this machine to basically have the same energy level for each and every single pulse that it is putting into a patient's skin. That way, you make sure that your patient doesn't blister or burn or have any sort of unwanted side effects with the treatment. And the thing that I really like about this machine for any treatment that I'm doing from hair removal to capillary removal, is that the machine is actually equipped with cryogen. So what's cryogen? It's actually this thing over here. It's this little canister. This is cryogen. It's evaporated dry ice. And the machine emits a pulse of cryogen before and after after each pulse of laser energy. So that way we pre treat and post treat the skin to ensure that it's comfortable and it's safe for all our patients. If you're interested in coming in for a laser hair removal treatment, a capillary treatment, or even to treat those little strawberry moles that patients get all over their bodies, call our office and come in for a consultation.
