James 1:2-4 says trials refine faith and build perseverance toward spiritual maturity. When you surrender to God's plan, Romans 8:28 promises all circumstances serve his good. Character grows through hardship, and that growth fuels the hope to keep moving forward.
Chapters
Consider it pure joy whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. I love this scripture. It is a hard one to do, but once you finally just surrender and say, okay, I'm gonna trust that you're doing everything for my good and your glory. I'm just gonna live Romans 8:28 life, that it is what it is. That is how I believe. This testing will produce that perseverance, and that perseverance will produce that character that Tamatha's talking about. And that is what gives you hope to continue on, to keep moving forward.
