So as long as you're relying on what's going into your mouth for energy production, you're not going to lose weight. You don't lose weight until you tap into your own fat stores to burn fuel. And if you're not fat adapted, if your body has gotten used to being a sugar burner, it kind of forgets how to burn fats for fuel. And that's the premise behind the ketogenic diet. So the ketogenic diet is this idea of eating high fats to burn those as your fuel source. And so you make energy from fats called ketones, as opposed to glucose from carbohydrates. And for men, this usually works great. But for women, we have hormones that, that are cycling and changing every day, and our needs are vastly different. Our body is mainly thinking about reproducing and how do we keep vitamin and mineral stores available for a potential pregnancy? How do we keep enough fat storage available for potential breastfeeding and nursing? So that might be not your goal, but that's your body's goal. That's the physiology of the female anatomy. And, and so what you want to do is remind your body how to be a fat burner again. And so my program, the Gutsy Hormone solution, walks you through, step by step, week by week, the necessary changes that have to happen to remind your body how to be a fat burner again and how to tap into your own fat stores to burn fuel and actually lose weight without rebound weight gain. This is the key, you guys. So sometimes doing drastic things like just being low carb for four to six weeks or however long you can manage to, you know, barely eat anything or burning tons of calories with high intensity cardiovascular activity, like high intense running, elliptical, hit training, all of that stuff, you will tap into your stores and burn fat and lose weight. But your body thinks you're starving itself and straining and struggling. And so it tells your thyroid, whoa, whoa, whoa, she's really struggling here. Turn everything down and your thyroid will downregulate and then your metabolism will turn down and then your body will no longer tap into your fat stores for fuel and it will hoard every little thing that you take in. So even if you're still trying to do 16 to 1800 calories, if you have gone to the point of turning your metabolism down, your body is going to store all of that and not use it as fuel. It's going to say, we need to fill the stores back up before she burns anything else. And so that feels like rebound weight gain, fatigue, being tired. No motivation. It feels horrible. So you need to figure out a way to eat and live for your life. Lose the weight while not down. Regulating your thyroid and ruining your metabolism. That is the key, you guys.
