Estradiol is a patch that you can get that's bioidentical. You can get estradiol vaginal cream. You can use estradiol gel. Those are all standard prescriptions. There is estradiol oral pills. I do not recommend those because your body turns it into estrone, like, 70 to 80% of the time in your gut before you even absorb it into your bloodstream. So when you take that pill, you're getting too much estrone. We don't want too much estrone. We want it to stay estradiol. So bypassing the gut going through your skin is the best way to make that happen.
