I was part of the first ever Fast to Faith certification course. Immediately I jumped in, was surrounded by like-minded women passionate for Jesus, passionate for health, passionate for healing. I was so excited to learn and to glean from Dr. Tabatha Barber and Ashley and all of their experience. What I didn't know is that I would find the missing piece to my healing journey, and that was my mindset. My mindset was holding me back. I didn't speak kindly to myself. I had unrealistic expectations for her, and I definitely was not listening to her. I felt like she was fighting against me. What I learned is that I didn't need to try harder. I needed to be more gentle. I needed to be slower, and I needed to take every thought captive. Whatever we think on grows, and our words matter. There is power in both our words and our thoughts. So I started to change my mind and catch myself when I had those lies come in that I knew weren't true. My husband and I hold each other accountable with words that come out of our mouths. Thank you. And I started to change. I noticed the energy in our home changed. I noticed my marriage change. And I noticed some friendships change. So now I get to take this change and this energy along with the team of sisters around me, and I get to go out and walk with others and change the world. Thank you.
