This is a first-person testimonial in a YouTube video by Dr. Tabatha Barber about a participant's health transformation during perimenopause. The participant describes enrolling in a 3-month "Healthier Her" program then extending into a year-long "Elite" program for accountability, leading to substantial improvements: ~55 lb weight loss (from ~60 lb overweight), better sleep (Aura Ring ~90 scores), higher energy, reduced body fat (from ~33% to ~31%), increased lean mass focus (≈105 lb lean mass reported), improved bone-health T-score (~1.7), and a reduced biological age (from ~49 to ~47).

I reached out to Dr. Tabitha about a year ago because I was going through perimenopause and I wasn't sleeping very well. I didn't have any energy, and I was like 60 pounds overweight. So I was kind of stuck. And I knew that I had to change something, but I wanted to know exactly what it was. It was that I had to change and where I was in the process, because I was so before I was so much about trying this or trying that and not exactly knowing what was actually going on to fix it properly. So I think that's why I came to you.
And were you happy with going through the program? Do you feel like it's what you needed?
I think it's exactly, exactly what I needed. And I think I did the healthier her program, which was the three months, and then I signed up for the elite program after that, which was an additional year, because during that first three months, I think I was getting the energy back. I lost. I think at that point I had lost like over 30 pounds and I was sleeping better and things were starting to click. But I felt like if I wanted to keep going, so I signed back up for another year because I knew that I didn't know for sure, but I felt that if I didn't have that accountability and like that support for the next year or so, that I would maybe fall back into my. My. What I was doing before. So I didn't want to lose my progress and I wanted to make sure things kept rolling on the right path. Yeah.
And you've made so much good progress. What. So tell me everything that's happened since, like, how much weight you lost in body fat and all that good stuff.
I've lost about 55 pounds at this point, so I am within 10 to 15 pounds of my goal weight. My energy is through the roof. My sleep is so much better. And I must say, I have dogs that get me up at like 3, 3:30 in the morning, and I'm still getting like 90, 90 scores on my aura ring. So for me to be able to get like that quality sleep, which I do go to bed earlier, but I get that quality sleep from like eight to three or whatever, which is still my seven to eight hours of sleep. I'm. I'm waking up and I'm refreshed and I'm doing my strength training and I'm doing like my walking and the things that I need to do to keep things going, but I just, I have so much energy. I've lost. I started doing Dexa scans. So I went, I guess six months ago or whatever, and I was like at a 33% body fat at that point. And I went again. Well, I guess it was three months. And then this past week or so I went back and I've lost two and a half pounds of body fat, so I'm down to 31%. So I'm really happy about that. And it's like strength training, I think, is like, it's so important because my. I'm above average for everybody and my T score was like 1.7. So for me, my mom has osteoporosis. So, you know, my sister, she's my twin. She's the same age as I do. She doesn't do as much strength. Strength training as I do. And she has it too, or she's at the point where it's developing. So. So for me, I think that was like a big thing. For me, my lean mass was like 105 pounds. So I'm just. I'm really starting to look at the health aspect of things. And then my biological age is like going down. I went from like 49 years to 47, and I'll be 51 in October. So I'm really happy about that.
