Many times, right before a person meets their soulmate is when they go through the most difficult time in their life. It is that period of time where all of the negativity and the fears and the insecurities and the wounds from the past have to surface. They have to surface in order to create space for your soulmate. They have to surface in order to give you the capacity to be a true giver, to have certainty, to feel whole and secure within yourself. Not because you are leaning on your other half, not because they inspire you so much that you feel whole inside, but because it is an energy that you have earned on your own. So, yes, if you're seeing all old wounds, all old exes, all old fears coming up, it is a very good sign that you're on your path very soon, very quickly.
