Ep.11 What to do when you can't see the future or find the solution

David Guillaume, a Kabbalah teacher with 20+ years of experience, argues that life's hardships are tests designed to transform ego-driven negativity. His core prescription: cultivate faith and certainty beyond logic, align your struggles with becoming one with the Creator, and practice daily prayer to hold that certainty even when you can't see the solution.

And of course, all proceeds go to charity. Just to start, I thought I'd read something from the deep writings of a great cabalist. His name is Rav Ashlag and He lived about 100 years ago, a little less than 100 years ago, and wrote profound, profound wisdom on how our soul evolves spiritually in this world. And the big thing he talked about was the power of consciousness and the power of certainty. We'll share a little bit from his writings for you. Ravashek says that a person, when they go through challenges in life, they have to realize that what they see and what they hear is a complete illusion, complete test. That even though you have eyes, you do not see, and even though you have ears, you cannot really hear what's going on. So not to believe in the darkness that you're going through. Why is this happening? Because of what's called the tikkun, the correction of the soul. Each one of our souls came to this world and we were meant to fully transform different layers of negativity that the soul has in order to become one with the light of the creed, by becoming one with the light of the light of the Creator. That's how we find our purpose. This is how we experience miracles and fulfillment and soulmate energy and prosperity, so on and so forth. And because of this correction, in order for man to achieve his wholeness, it's all of this negativity makes man feel only himself and not another. And we know this, that our fears, our trauma, that we bring from past life, we only feel ourselves. We're not feeling other people. And even when we are feeling other people, we give to other People, it's because there's a hidden agenda. All of this needs to be transformed in order for us to achieve our highest purpose. How do you. How do you overcome these layers of negativity? And the Kabbalists say, specifically says to embody faith and certainty beyond your logical mind. When you're going through a difficult time, realize that your logic is not going to solve it. Don't try to solve it. Don't try to rush the process, but say that everything that I am going through is for the good and I have certainty beyond my logical mind that this is good, not even that it will be good, that it is good. Right now. When a person connects to certainty and faith beyond logic, begins the process of cleansing his or her negativity and achieving oneness with the Creator. And that's the second thing he says, besides having certainty, which by itself is so powerful, having certain. No, it doesn't matter what you're going through, especially if you can't see the future, you can't see a solution. We're not saying don't try to solve it either. We're saying whatever you do, do it with certainty, beyond logic, that you know this is good. See, the second thing is you need to know that the goal of what you're going through is to become one with the Creator. You must have both. It's not enough just to have certainty, but certainty. Why? Because I want to become like the Creator. This knowledge, this concept alone, is what binds your soul to the light of the Creator. And he says here, as it is written in the Holy Zohar, which. The Zohar is the. The. The text that was revealed 2,000 years ago, which decodifies the writings of the Old Testament. So it's the deep inner secrets of the Old Testament. It says, Rav Shimon Bayochai, the author of the Zoro, says, there is no place to hide from you. Meaning that in all the concealments that he felt, he believed that there was the light of the Creed, that the author of the story, he reached this consciousness that everywhere he went, no matter what he was going through in life, he saw the light of the Creed. Experience the light of the Creed, but only through all the dark times, choosing and saying that I have certainty, the Creator is there, even though I don't see it, I don't hear it, I don't feel it. But he chose to live in that reality. And as a result, he reached the state where he saw the Creator in everything. And so he had no more pain and only wisdom. And he kept working on the certainty, building the muscle of certainty, until it says his face shined with the light of the Creator. And the more difficult your situation is, the more confusing it is. The more you don't have answers or clarity, the greater the light that will be revealed from your certainty. So work, Ravashi says, work. Whatever you do, work with faith and certainty beyond your logic. Know that everything you're looking for actually exists within you right now. And how do you know your kyoi is all of a sudden he's so tired? Why? Because this is actually what's good for him. The cleaning up part, that's actually what builds his character, builds his soul, builds his moral compass. Cleaning up your mess. So the child has a lot of energy when it comes to playing, but cleaning up, he gets tired. And this is the same for us. When we get tired and lethargic and uninspired, it's because we're actually doing the work of the sou. And the body is disagreeing with this. And if the body is excited to do it, probably means there's some kind of hidden ego or agenda involved, and we'll end with this. If it's difficult to have certainty beyond logic, what should we do? We should pray for it. You should pray to the Creator every day, in your own language, in your own words, that the Creator will give you the power to be similar to him who? To the Creator who has certainty.
