Ep.27 Why You Feel Empty After Expansion: How to Create Miracles From it

Elay Amitay Halevi explains why you feel empty after big life changes like marriage or a promotion. In Kabbalah, expansion creates a void that tests you. Learning to fill it properly, rather than waste energy on qlipot, lets you create miracles from that emptiness.

Hey everyone. Welcome to episode 27 of our podcast. And as you know, I try to always keep these concise, short and relevant to everything that we're going through. And often I'm asking out loud to the creator, what is it that people are going through? What is it that I'm going through? What is the energy that is settling in our world right now? And I would say especially kind of referencing astrology, referencing what the sages talk about. This period of time, we're in a six week period of time called Shova Vim, where past challenges seem to come up. And anywhere in our lives where we've wasted, wasted time, wasted energy, wasted our light force. Because essentially what happens is that every day the kabbalists say there is a basket of energy. And because our time here on this planet is limited, we have a body that's for lease. The soul basically leases this body in order to do spiritual work. Every minute is supposed to be dedicated to what the soul needs. And when we forget about the soul's needs and we're just focused on the body's needs, we are essentially wasting the energy of that time. And so when we do waste energy via time, this goes to the negative side and it gets trapped in these forces called qlipot. I talk about this deeper in my masterclasses. These qlipot are shells that protect this energy until which time we can redeem them through spiritual work. And that's why tests come back. Tests come back essentially as an opportunity for us to re, earn, to, to elevate those sparks of light from the negative side. They become part of our soul. Then our soul shifts to new destinies. And this is how we receive the fulfillment that we're looking for in life. This is how we elevate and receive our soul's purpose and receive wisdom and receive abundance and whatever it is that we're looking for in life, and usually they are both correlated. Your desire of what you're looking for in life is going to draw and attract the unique challenges which are often and maybe in different parts of your life. But they're challenges that then awaken our negativity, our tikkun, our fears, so that we can transform them, become on the vibration of the Creator, and then reclaim those sparks of light to receive the fulfillment in that area that we're looking for. So pretty much in simplicity, what I'm saying is you want something, you will then draw the unique challenge test the fear that is once past, directly going to bring the fulfillment to that desire. So pay close attention to what happens. You pray for something or you subconsciously ask for something. Pretty much everything that happens after that is designed to give you the opportunity to reveal that fulfillment that you asked for. So it could be, I want sustenance in my career. But the test could be totally unrelated. It could be a challenge with a family member or a challenge with a child. And you may say, well, how are these challenges I'm experiencing with my children or my family members connected to my career? And this is where Kabbalah really elevates the experience and explains that the soul doesn't care which area of life we're talking about. The soul's correction with your children is directly correlated to your sustenance, which is directly correlated to your health, which is directly correlated to your love life, which is so on and so forth. So it's all one vessel. So this week's period of time is all about reclaiming those sparks of light that were lost through opportunities that we dedicated more to the body, consciousness, and not the soul. What does that mean? Every time we are reactive, which is any thought, word, or action which comes from lack or fear, which is opposite the vibration of the creator, this reactivity is causing us to lose spark of light. And as a result, the vessel of our soul is shrinking. And as a result, we're not experiencing the fulfillment that we're looking for. So this is the period of time. And one of the things I thought was really powerful about this week and this came up with several people that I've spoken to, is, why do we feel emptiness and lack often? It's very interesting. You often feel emptiness and emptiness and lack when you've actually expanded your vessel. When you're going to your next level, you feel the lack. The analogy I gave before was, imagine you're on the junior varsity basketball team, and you are the best player on the team. In fact, you're so good that you're good enough to go to varsity, the next level. But once you go into varsity, you're no longer the best player. In fact, you're probably the worst player on the team or somewhere in the middle, then you start to feel empty. You don't have that same fulfillment you had being the star player on the junior varsity team. Now, this emptiness you feel is a result of what? It's a result of your soul having elevated to the next level. It's a result of you entering a bigger league, an expanded vessel. Notice here how by you expanding to a bigger vessel, you feel emptier. Every time we have an expansion, we will initially feel like we are disconnected, and that's a good thing. The negative side wants you to believe that you've gone backwards. The negative side wants you to believe that you're failing. I want you to know you are never failing. You are never going backwards. And in fact, you are always, always, always elevating what is. For example, we know, like, when a couple has a child, when you bring a child into this world, it says that every child brings additional wealth, no matter what. So if you're ever wondering, oh, my God, can I afford to have a child? The Creator always brings abundance and wealth with any soul you're bringing into this world. But why? The sages say this, but Kabbalah explains the why. The why is a new soul into your family unit is a new desire. So it's a new vessel. It's an expansion. And this expansion eventually draws sustenance. However, often after you get married or after you have children, or after something new enters into your life, there is a period of emptiness. We know this from people who have actually achieved a higher level. You actually get the award. You get first place. You get that thing you've been working for your whole life. And then you feel empty. Why? Because now you've expanded your vessel, you've gone to a new level, and this expansion has empty space, and so you feel empty. This also explains in many ways the spiritual cause of postpartum depression. I'm never going to get into the science and the clinical aspects of these things. There's so many other great souls out there that talk about this. I want to always kind of share what the sages and what the Kabbalists share about what's happening on a spiritual level. Why would someone go through postpartum depression? Because now she has expanded her vessel by bringing a child. And so there's an emptiness that you will naturally feel, which then is reflected hormonally and chemically in the brain. Sure. But the spiritual cause is an expansion. It's not a bad thing. The sadness we're feeling is not a bad thing. The emptiness we're feeling is not an indication that you're doing something wrong. In fact, it means you're on the right track in many ways. Now, of course, there are ways to deal with it that are further spiritual. We want to become like the Creator. We want to have certainty. We want to push through beyond our logical mind to further solidify owning this expanded vessel. But I just want to start with knowing that this is not a bad thing. This is not a bad thing. When A person receives a lot of wealth. There's often emptiness when a couple gets married. There are difficulties afterwards. Right after the high of the wedding, which is the union and unification of two halves of one soul, there's challenges. Why? Because you have a bigger vessel. You have more, which means you're going to receive more, you're going to draw more, but it also means you're going to feel emptiness. So really, this is the theme, redefining emptiness. Let's redefine lack. You are not going backwards. You are moving forwards, no matter what. And that consciousness of always moving forward is a consciousness of abundance that then earns the light you draw into this expanded vessel. And that's how the miracle occurs. So whatever you're going through in your life, remember, there's no such thing as you're going backwards. There's no such thing. Even as you're falling, you're always moving forward. Of course, there are lessons you need to learn, but don't punish yourself. This body that you have least in this lifetime, you need to take good care of it. And every time we have guilt or shame, we punish ourselves. You're destroying the vessel that's holding your soul, which is the vessel for the light of the Creator. And when vessels are broken, energy is leaking and we are not feeling the fulfillment, feeling the fulfillment that we are looking for. Everything is okay. Everything. Everything is good. Let's get on that vibration. The Creator is our partner. The Creator will help us as long as we decide to be on that frequency.
